Methoxetamine Movies?

A Scanner Darkly (pretty & good adaption of a classic book, ignoring keanu reeves)
Altered States (even more hillarous/wtf? when you're high)
Flatliners (ahh kiefer sutherland, I want to punch you in the faaace)
Jacobs Ladder (THE BEST movie to watch on ANY dissociative IMO)
Brazil (oh yes)
Liquid Sky (yes, yes)
Dead Ringers (extremely confusing "wait, so is there just one set of two twins or are there two sets of two twins? Wait, what? Oh my god...")

I quite like plugging m-hole doses and watching movies/the news...I quite enjoy the "WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN!?" as well as occasionally believing I am part of the movie.

Yeah when you start speaking to the movie's characters, alone in front of the screen it's all good! :D

Although it's not MXE, and I've never tried MXE, I imagine this one would hold true for all dissociatives.

Yellow Submarine. I watched it on repeated bumps of Ketamine and it was the trippiest strangest experience ever, I loved it, it was even trippier than watching Waking Life on 20-25mg 4-AcO-DMT and 15mg 2C-E.

Others that I think might be great but have never watched on dissociatives:
- Natural Born Killers
- Fight Club
- Enter the Void
- Koyaanisqatsi
- Primer (Now that would be a trip)
- Trainspotting
- A Scanner Darkly

i have tested koyanisqatsi on ketamine with two friends we were all blown away and one of them couldn't take it and left the room before the end.
i suppose these will be great too
"the fountain"; "solaris" both russian and american versions; "the thirteenth floor"; "kafka"
haha to keep in mind though :)

please watch these if you guys want to understand what a 'trippy movie' is.... :D
i've seen a chunk of what you guys suggested, and they're good suggestions. but the holy mountain is a whole-nother dimension of cinema.

"What I am trying to do when I use symbols is to awaken in your unconscious some reaction. I am very conscious of what I am using because symbols can be very dangerous. When we use normal language we can defend ourselves because our society is a linguistic society, a semantic society. But when you start to speak, not with words, but only with images, the people cannot defend themselves."
— Alejandro Jodorowsky

also, i can't find the quote, but the director also said something to the extent of how cinema when done correctly can match the transcendent qualities of lsd. he made the holy mountain to be this experience....

it's not for everyone, its not hollywood bullshit, and is sometimes distrubing with it surrealism punch. but if you want a movie which is 'a trip', NO OTHER will compete, i would bet money on this.

honestly my first mind-opening trip experience, i credit to this movie being watched after a night of absurdly-excessive weed smoking. (and the weed wasn't the trippy part lol)

Last night I dosed 1 gram of dxm and watched the holy mountain, slipstream, waking life, and some old pink panther cartoons, in that order.

Somebody please throw a brick at my head because I just went to the circus and back.

I cant really enjoy movies on MXE cause it gives me really bad blurry double vision, especially when mixed with weed or am-2201.

my friend watched house on mxe, apparently he was giving the actors instructions/cuing them lines and they were following like he was the director haha. i've only watched fantasia and wizards on 100mg before, found it difficult to pay much attention to fantasia because the room was buzzing with static and wizards was not a pleasant experience :p

The Matrix would have to be a good MXE film. All the slow mo, and philosophy if you can get your head round it.

What's there to get your head around? We can either choose to be responsible for the choices we make or live safely guided as blind sheep.

That's exactly what I enjoy about it, it's like a strange alien culture is trying to communicate with me using weird symbolic performances. Once I went on a bit of a methoxetamine bender (was awake and high on mxe for about 3 days-this is blatant drug abuse and completely against the spirit of bluelight as a harm reduction forum, so don't follow my lead) when house sitting for my aunt/uncle, I holed up (haha, unintentional pun) in a beanbag watching the BBC for approx 80% of the time I wasn't completely amnesiac- I felt like I was an interdimensional robot anthropologist who has been tasked with studying the human condition.

But all moxified you might not be able to grasp such a rational notion.

I won't just mention "trippy" movies, since there's a million threads for those already. I typically like dark films or horror on DXM, but MXE is so much more warm and friendly. Of anything in video format, I'd say the "childrens" TV show "Adventure Time" is the best compliment to the head-space MXE puts me in. It's clever and left-field, a world abounding in soft textures, optimism and wonder. The music is plush, splashy and luxuriant -- it wears well with the cozy liquid static cloak that drapes over methoxetaminated shoulders.

Here's a clip
where the lead protagonist, Finn, builds a hyper-cube black hole bubble blower, and then mentions how it'll release DMT from the pineal glands of the spectators in attendance.

Here's a short clip of the Mad Tart Toter's speech. It's billed by the poster as the trippiest and most profound thing in a cartoon ever. I don't know about that, but for it to pop out of nowhere to end the episode was oddly beautiful when I first saw it.

Strongly agree with this. The show is perfectly silly/loopy enough to mesh well with how I get when on ketamine/methoxetamine. The second time I did MXE, I plugged 50mg and watched Adventure Time until 3am laughing very loudly by myself. The "Gut Grinder" episode is what I walked into and needless to say - I was giddy with excitement lol

Waking life

+1 on that for sure. "The key is to remain in a state of constant departure while always arriving..it saves on introductions and goodbyes.." love it.

just watched a movie called "the art of flying" on mxe/(r)ket combo..it was intense to say the least!!
