To you're comment "Ignorance is bliss" I have smoked damn near every way straight green and with tobacco and the Aussie way is my preferred method, call it ignorant if you will, I call it enlightenment personally .

My boss was a Melbournite, I've smoked all the Australian ways he's familiar with. I'll admit, hash and tobacco is nice to hit in a bong, but I personally don't smoke tobacco so it gives me a head spin. Adding tobacco to your weed (IMO) overpowers the taste.

I didn't realize there was a difference. I thought it was more of a continental difference like you said africa and like how in europe they smoke more hash than weed (atleast i think so) Well I never thought about it but I dunno, I have black friends, white friends, asian friends. They all smoke whatever, depends on the individual

French Canadians smoke with tobacco almost universally, but a good number don't. Lot of glass blowers in BC so a lot of people use glass. Lot of joints too. And hot knives. A lot of people will run the blades all day long, as long as they're at home. People have no issue smoking out in public in lots of small towns out here too.

And it totally is true. People from the south like to smoke blunts! You don't see it so much here. When I used to smoke, i would sometimes roll a few blunts and drink a cream soda. It was a special thing I would do.

i'm from the maritimes and there is really no one thing that is smoked on a reg basis. me and my friends useually smoke j's but not limited to. we r very versitile people. i've got my bong, pipe, vaporizer, grav bong, iron lung, u name it we probly r using it. i even have my pride and joy that i bring out for parties, the "blue demon". i used one of those big blue water cooler jugs and made a kickass hooka out of it. u can get a big bowl on top (which fits very nicely), drilled a few holes on the top for the tubes (i only put 4 in but u can probly get a few more) and use as directed. fucking works great! and is awsome when there r a bunch of people matching. diverse useage in the maritimes.

In the part of australian i live in ( Queensland ) my smoking circles 95% of the time smoke bongs, the other 5% are people who rarely smoke, and when they do they prefer joints because its not as strong in affects as smoking a bong. i only know 1 person in my area who has smoked a blunt and that was the once, they are extremely rare here. I myself love bongs :D and im white, most of the people in my area are aswell, but that dosnt seem to matter, white black or asian around here, you smoke bongs

My friends smoke using bongs of various sizes (some homemade) and pipes of various kinds (glass, wood, metal, chillums). Or the occasional joint, and even more occasional blunts. And, whilst in Amsterdam, we used the vapouriser.

This is in the UK, and the group consists of a black Londoner, two white village boys, a bruniean girl, and a German guy.

In eastcoast new Hampshire we smoke blunts. Black, white, whatever... This is at a university, too.

When we smoke out of state a lot of kids are blown away by this.

we made something exactly like this during high school, but cut the bottom off of it, put it in a kiddie pool, and used it as a gravity bong.

The people I hang with and myself smoke from glass most of the time, but on occasion we roll up a joint or blunt from a Black n Mild. Other people here seem to do the same, regardless of ethnic background. I know black people with really nice glass, and white guys that smoke blunts and joints all the time. We also have a nice collection of homemade pieces around.

Around here everyone smokes whatever. Most old school motherfuckers smoke joints but will hit anything.

People always say blunts burn slower which can be true but if I roll a king sized zigzag and someone else rolls a Dutch than the joint will last longer, idk if most people are talking about regular sized papers but its pretty obvious that them being smaller is the reason or just a poor roll job.

I used to roll Garcia y Vega greenleafs, dutches, or white owls each for their own reasons but if its nice bud I'm rolling a joint of some kind. Blunt rolling in my circle is mostly done when you're young because they are easier to roll. When I'm alone ill just smoke a bowl but if there's a bunch of us everyone is rolling something and I prefer joints because I like to taste my weed.

Oh ya, I'm not a fan of bongs unless they are new or clean. Some people just never clean their pieces and that's just gross to me, people drooling down the tube... Its just disgusting, clean you pieces!

I live in a small city in Canada (Quebec), ive never seen any1 smoke blunts??...ever. Joints are popular.
Hot knives are really popular too. I dont think many ppl in the USA ( or elsewhere) use hot knives to smoke weed or hash. Its a very efficiant way to smoke weed even though its a lil dangerous lol.

I live in São Paulo, Brasil (No, we are not fuckin monkeys bitches). The only blunts that cats smoke are made of paper-bags-for-bread. They roll a pretty long motherfucker with those. Joints are the best way to smoke for every one, but for the rich-kids doing it out of a platinum and gold 6-ft hookah the easiest way to roll a thick one is to get 5 rolling papers and stick them the fuck up.

But mostly I roll some crappy joint for myself and chill or take a lesson with a friend.

Around here, most people (if not all) smoke blunts all the time and joints when they run out of wraps. And we do buy Swishers on the Right Coast. I dig White Owls better though if I have to smoke a blunt. I usually just toke out of my corncob pipe. :D

I must say its usually glass around here, but I have it some haggard ass bongs and bowls. Things I'd rather not mention because my lungs will never forgive me. However, generally in PA "gangsta" = blunt, everyone else hits glass or joints. No race divide.

In my parts in Adelaide all the Sudanese guys go with blunts/joints, and occasionally bong, and the white folk go with bongs/pipes or occasionally joints.

i live in so cal, in my area (north L.A.), black people smoke blunts, noob white toners use peices and my crew (white) smoked blunts.

what i find funny is west coast smokes swisher blunts but everyone on the east coast swears by dutch masters, noone buys swishers on the east coast

That is correct, sir. Swishers suck.

I do not know how it got to be that way, but I do know that once something stops selling, even if you do like it... It's going to be dried and cracked, further stigmatizing the product. This, n combination with characterizing yourself as disgraceful for purchasing a seemingly inferior product, yields selling more of the already more popular brand.

Anyway, as with most things, it is a lot more complicated than my mental blurb. Also, I was just going with the quote. I have no fucking clue if any type of real study has been done or if it is just hear-say. Likely the later.
