Methods of Smoking vs Culture

I'm east coast, and I've never even smoked a swisher. plenty of people black and white I know smoke blunts, and by blunts I do mean dutches. they're the best, I don't know why you'd waste your time on a white owl or something shitty like that. most of my friends and I prefer pieces/bongs, but we smoke j's or l's when it's more convenient to do so. j's are quicker and I find myself smoking them in a pinch more often.
 
Im a bong and bowl kind of guy as are most of my friends.

Here the blunt of choice is Dutchmasters, Philies, El Producto and the Blunt Wraps that I only used to be able to enjoy in Amsterdam.

Some prefer joints, but in my experience they are usually the ones who either smoke the least or have a lower tolerance.

I know someone who ONLY smokes out of a gravity bong. Had been doing it for the 10+ years Ive known the person.

You would ask if they want a hit.. and they would just ask for a little bit for the gravity. Crazy.
 
Where I live most people smoke out of glass. But if you cruise and smoke its always blunts. I'm from the East side of Washington State which is a pretty conservative, anti weed place so smoking in public is a big no no. That's probably the main reason behind the inside bong popularity.
 
In my area it's mostly joints. We use glass pipes sometimes, but nothing compares to the good old joint. I find it so enjoyable to roll, and much more fun to smoke. Hmmmmmmm. Good, good, good, good.
 
French Canadians smoke with tobacco almost universally, but a good number don't. Lot of glass blowers in BC so a lot of people use glass. Lot of joints too. And hot knives. A lot of people will run the blades all day long, as long as they're at home. People have no issue smoking out in public in lots of small towns out here too.

And it totally is true. People from the south like to smoke blunts! You don't see it so much here. When I used to smoke, i would sometimes roll a few blunts and drink a cream soda. It was a special thing I would do.
 
For me, a bong if Im short on weed. A joint if i have a fair amount.

Growing up and smoking in the UK, i hadnt used a bong until I moved to Australia, never knew anyone who did. Alot of us were underage so that might have had something to do with it but also all of the older guys i used to hang around would blaze joints and shit. I dunno if its just an english/blac thing but bongs where never that big to us.
 
In general I've noticed black people from the ghetto prefer smoking blunts to anything else. Myself, I get chronic, so I prefer a piece because it's expensive and rolling is a waste. If I happen to have reggos though, I generally roll joints instead of blunts because blunt paper is really made out of tobacco, which is unhealthy. I have a small brass pipe that fits in my pocket (and has a screw-on top!) that I use when I go places. Otherwise, I have a nice bong that I use most of the time, and sometimes I use a glass pipe or chillum if I don't feel like bong rips. Also, if I'm getting drunk or messed up on other drugs, sometimes I don't use my bong because I'm afraid I'll break it - it's ~18 inches tall so I have to be careful. I've had it for about 20 months now, and I didn't think it would last 12, so I'm happy.

Pipes are commonly used also, but unlike America where glass is favoured we mainly use small metal pipes known as hashpipes.

Thats what is like over here in Adelaide, Ausralia.
 
I'm in South Auckland, NZ. In my town most people I associate with (around my age) that smoke regularly own a bucket bong/gravity bong (Bucky), Anything less than a 1.5L smoke chamber will get you hassled for being a pussy and same with coughing (not by me, just an observation)

30-40's smoke joints pretty exclusively.

Hash is usually only smoked in a small glass/metal pipe or hot knived (spots)

I know lots of people that have settled her from abroad who enjoy different methods such as.

Aussie's smoking bongs with tobacco (Ignorance is bliss)
South African's smoking joints with tobacco

etc

To you're comment "Ignorance is bliss" I have smoked damn near every way straight green and with tobacco and the Aussie way is my preferred method, call it ignorant if you will, I call it enlightenment personally :p.
 
grape swishers are my preferred method, and most of the people I know. All the black dudes grow a "blunt splitter" which is just one long finger nail, usually their pinky. Its pretty funny. I'm in Indianapolis.

When I was in college in evansville (3 hours south, but still indiana) it was all joints or glass. bongs every once in a while.
 
i started smoking with blunts and did so for years. i am a "white" person, but I smoked with my friends who are "black" and "hispanic".

now i smoke out of glass because i get danker bud that doesnt need to be smoked in blunts. also i smoke indoors in my apartment, and not out in city parks/out in public.

I definitely noticed in college that the white smokers prefered to use pipes, but not all. There are definitely some whiteys out there with the vailla dutches yo' %)
 
Ugh my friends always waste good ass bud by rolling blunts with it, it's so dumb! They just do it because anything efficient is snobby to them. They wouldn't even use a vaporizer because it made them feel like pussies. So fucking stupid.
 
From what I've noticed in my area- my area being mainly a college campus/town full of white kids- we mostly use glass. Bongs are used as well but not many people own them.

Then again not many people smoke where I go to school.

I have a huge purse that I carry when we wanna take the bong places=D

Smoking blunts is just pretty damn ballin' thing to do...Smoking a bong or a piece is usually more effective...But a proper fat but tight swisher is > than a dinky lil bowl IMO...

I usually just smoke jay's cuz its convenient and i don't have to carry around a paraphernalia...

BTW ^ we do smoke Swishas on the east coast...Ive rolled some nice Duchies before too but its a lot more of a hassle if you do it properly and take off the outer leaf and then spit it>roll it>wrap the outer leaf..pretty rewarding but it seems like the vast majority of blunt smokers out there either use Swishas or fruity wraps...
 
Pretty much everyone i know smoke joints(Tabacco + Weed), me? Well i prefer pipes, gravity bongs and pure joints.
