Methamphetamine Discussion Thread 3.0

Hey guys, my friends wanted an answer to a question and google just brings up a bunch of breaking bad stuff. They got a half a gram of methamphetamine that was a very light tinge of blue. I performed an acetone wash for them and got them back just over 400mg so it was very decent stuff. I expected the wash to eliminate the colour but after the wash the coloured remained. Also after a lot of washes I find the crystal take on a very distinct shape and these remained your average shape just shrunk a bit. I didn't smoke any but they've smoked a few points of it now and say it is good stuff, right up there with your good crystal. Can anyone with more knowledge give me a reason behind the blue colour? Is it a particular precursor or some sort of cutter which isn't soluble in acetone? Anyone got any ideas? It sort of loses it's colour once smoked and re-crystalizes very nicely. Here's a pic after the wash:

Bit of a mystery it seems. Didn't realize meth of such high purity (98.4%) could still be noticeably coloured.

Ive seen a movie about this where a guy makes blue crystals by using a different chemical process that uses methlamine rather than pseudo. But I didnt think it was true.
 
Yeah i've had just about every colour but usually it's low quality and a wash gets rid of the colour but this time it stayed and it's confusing as hell. Burns amazing my mates are saying and they're all off their head. Also recrystallizes really nicely, clear and like a spiderweb barely any residue marks left over too. Hopefully someone with some chemistry knowledge can explain it or let us know if it's an adulterant that isn't soluble in acetone. is isopropylbenzylamine soluble in acetone? Could it possible be someone has synthed that blue somehow and adulterated the batch with that?

^My thoughts exactly. I was always an IV user - once you start shooting it is often the ROA for every drug you can get into a needle. Look at the lengths people go to to get their pills into a pick!

Canberracrack - at least now you can say you've done it, it really is time to give up this drug. I didn't start getting any psychosis until years of use. My last binge lasting 9months and 3 weeks of all day everyday use. When I started to develop psychosis I recognised it for what it was and knew it was time to give it away. You don't want to end up that guy on the news who has been involved in some heinous crime - you'll be sitting in jail wondering how the fuck you got there and that sucks. If you're going to do time you want to have done it for good reason, not because you lost your shit at the end of a meth binge.

I find women are usually more sensitive to psychosis and are the first to go, but once it starts it usually doesn't stop until the cessation of the drug that's causing it in the first place.Taking Benzo's is not the answer. Just ask those that have had benzo addictions or are still in the grips of benzo addiction. They live in hell as far as I can tell.'

Taper your use or just stop, throw away all your contacts, move town if you have to and start again. Change your environment. Quit your job if you have to limit your income if you think you cannot be trusted. If you're lucky enough to have family and you haven't burnt them all then go and be with them. Forgive yourself and move on. Or keep killing yourself like you are - it really is your choice mate and only you can make it. You don't owe this drug anything and you have explored it inside and out, there really is nothing more to it, you will not miss out on anything if you never use it again.

I Hope you give it away mate, I really do.

Don't get me wrong, getting drunk certainly tends to overpower the feeling of codeine, but I have always felt that small amount of alcohol beforehand does boost the high, obviously anyone doing this for the first time should use less codeine than they usually do and inexperienced users of codeine should avoid combining it with anything, apart from perhaps an antihistamine.

I agree. I used to be addicted to codeine and alcohol. I would not want one without the other as I got a nice comforting rush from the combination that I couldn't get from either alone.
 
Med student here- GO TO THE DOCTOR!! Tell them the truth (you don't have to tell them you use drugs if you really don't want to). It is possibly a bacterial infection or it could be something due to sweating a lot, but someone needs to see. Don't worry too much, but worry a little- but it may need to be treated.
 
would ppl plz stop telling ppl that meth IV is more beneficial in any way than smoking etc etc....

damn stupid IV users, even if you have a slight point, (which you dont really) yall basically talked cabbanacrack or whatever his fucking name is to try it out.... you happy?

Yeah it's ridiculous. It's possible people aren't seeing as heavy effects on IV users because they're not so up and down, or simply that there's far more smokers - so on average you see way more cooked people smoking it.

I think they're both as bad as each other. I hesitate to use the word bad but meth is different than most drugs.

Lots of benzos and heavy meth use are a recipe for disaster like others have said here cabbanacrack. You need a break...do you have a family members place you can stay at and just veg out for a week? Doubt anything we say is going to change your mind but worth a try. Ask for some time off work maybe?
 
This website is a place void of any motives/bias/propaganda, purely providing info with an ethos of harm reduction. Im sorry, but i would be lying if i said hitting the sweet puff is less conducive to harm than IV.

This guy has dug his own hole, and was already a psychosis addled mess. It seems this thread has become a support thread for canberracrack, wouldnt it be possible to start his/her own thread on other drugs, dark side ect. So that this can go back to the methamphetamine discussion thread again?
 
well i guess I'm full time IV user now. its amazing how less fiendish it is and i honestly find it easier to maintain sanity, with twirling i would just end up sitting there for hours puffing away and chewing thru all my shit. Now i just have a fat shot of ..05-.1 and i tweak for 12 solid hours at least. I stick to 2 points or less in 24 hours! before i would easily chew up 3-4 in 24 hours easely. Anywho its a good switch. I sit there with the other IV guys and we all just have a stab then sit back and tweak on! at my old dudes house all eyes were on the pipe. and once you had a go with it you were just finding for your next twiddle. fuck that shit.


only worries with IV, is sharing needles!! Some guys at the house were actually doing this, as they all say they've been tested and are clean of aids, but know they have hepatitis. I was pretty freaked out by that and am never gonna get into that situation where i share a needle. fuck that.

So i feel like my use has moderated itself and I'm feeling a lot better about everything. however i now realise i have a benzo problem. i ran out the other day, and didn't have any for about 24-36 hours. i started to feel weird. dazed and confused is the best way to describe it. head was spinning like a mofo. i wasn't liking it one bit and had to race around to old mate and grab a new lot. Im all good as long as i have some, and they keep the crazies at bay... so i kinda am not seeing the problem here unless I'm forced to withdraw which i now know will be nasty.

If you are a clean user there is no healthier way to use any drug... Do you see people smoking drugs up at the hospital? I tend to try and stay away from IV myself because it is a much more intense long lasting high which once you 1st feel the power its gonna take a hell of a lot of will power to get back to just smoking it, I agree with others you dont get scattered when IVing while smoking idk whats with that but it brings the crazys on fast

haha is it fried that i watch that doco like at least once every couple of weeks? honestly matty is the funniest fucker of all time...i always find myself quoting him when i get beaming hard
