It is an old and common term for people who are HIV+ or living with AIDS. There is even a magazine for people who are HIV+ called POZ.

I am not HIV+ and do not have AIDS or any sexual diseases. I do have friends who are HIV+, have Hep C, have had syphilis, have herpes/HPV, etc.

You found a bug chasing/strain chasing website. It is a myth that two or more people who are HIV+ even if they are on meds or supposedly undetectable at the time of testing do not need to use condoms. Unsafe sex between poz people creates new strains of HIV, both people's meds do not work as effectively or can completely stop working, and progression to AIDS is faster. There are also STDs and bacterial/viral infections that can wreck havoc on a person's immune system, or cause the person living with HIV/AIDS more stress such as for example having to deal with HIV and Hep C.

Oh yeah, totally. Thank you for adding clarity on those points. I didn’t mean to put those notions across like they’re good ideas or safe or anything along those lines. I was just commenting that I think those ideas have been concepts for some people in the gay party scene, ignorant and unhealthy though this may be. And they’re not universally held beliefs either, plenty of gay people have more sense than this, but the concept I found interesting nonetheless.

Sounds like you might have ADHD. That is the atypical reaction that I also get sometimes from my prescribed Dexedrine (as someone with diagnosed severe ADHD.)

Well men have a lot more testosterone than women and they can reproduce whenever. So it makes sense that they want sex more than us.

Maybe. A baseload of Testosterone is vital. But I reckon it is the uncontrolled release of norepinephrine that keeps me fucking all the live long day. And dopamine that makes me want to get back to it the day after that.

Norepinephrine and dopamine also produce very horny ladies.

It's a complicated thing.. Been reading a bit and it says testosterone is the primary hormone linked to sex drive, but yeah dopamine is as well. I didn't get as far as norepinephrine.

Meth doesn't change my sex drive at all. It might even lower it because I get really focused on communication and intellectual stuff. I'm more interested in sex when I'm lazy and relaxed. But I've never been that interested in sex. I'm not asexual, just find other things more interesting. A guy once said he was sexually frustrated and I said "yeah well I'm intellectually frustrated." He was very.. Basic, and not my preferred type of man.

I've got whacked brain chemistry *and* whacked hormones (worse now than when I was younger), so I'm not very representative of women.
