i started using meth begining of last yr.,used all the way up till the begining of this yr.went from daily use to no use.had 3 months w/o doing any, till last sunday,&sum 2night.figured since i hadnt done any in so long that my tolerance wulda went dwn&id be high as a kite.but, this wasnt the case.the reason i was so into meth was the high,it made me this talkative, confident, extremelyhappy engergizerbunny.
but the highs i got doing it these last few times were terrible.got anxious, selfconscious, nontalkative, depressed.
ive heard"users chase that first high".for me during tht whole year using,i nver had to chase it,it always gave me tht same amazing high.&now tht i hardly do it,i get shit highs when i do.
also,i no longer have cravings.at all.none.i went frm fiending like crazy,to having no desire to do it at all.can any1 make sense of that?
im just curious if any1 else has any experience lke this?or knows any reason/idea y my highs are lke tht now?
tjhis was long,i know.replies r appreciated:)

Three months should definately be long enough for your tolerance to be down. I damn near killed myself coming off a long lay off by not allowing for the drop in tolerance. Perhaps the quality of the meth isn't what you used to get? No, I never had the "chasing that first time" thing either. Good shit worked every time for me.

^He's exactly right. Amphetamine/methamphetamine tolerance sticks around for a while, but not forever. If you take a long break, your tolerance will go down.

Another important point (one that fryingsquirrel already mentioned as well) is that the quality of street methamphetamine is variable to say the least, so perhaps the quality of your meth has gone down while your tolerance went up. While there's no way to tell the quality of your meth, it is always best to start lower with dosages after taking a tolerance break.
