Stimulants Meth before LASIK surgery?

I went to the dentist one day after taking 4-FA the night before, and even though i had slept and woke up, he had to reschedule me due to involuntary jaw movements. I felt sober but the apparently the peripheral effects lingered. Luckily for me he acted really cool about it.

Not to mention that methamphetamine is pretty infamous for causing disturbances with one's eyesight, and lasik is supposed to be more of a long-term solution to a problem, and if your eyesight is off during your surgery, I just don't know how you'd be sure that the surgery corrected your sober vision, or your vision on or post-methamphetamine. And I would definitely care. Also not to be condescending at all but to the poster above, isn't Lasik eye surgery a little more intense than going to the dentist? Still a good point for why the OP should not consider this further.

Well yeah considering the side effects of not only bruxism but also nystagmus, that was just the dentist imagine the eye surgeons! Probably extremely risky.

Goes to show how addictive meth is , ongoing justifying, minimizing , anything can be justified to a
meth addict and sound ok to do

Yerp, meths biggest addiction risk, that other drugs dont have. How easy it is to justify its usage due to performance enhancement or improvements to normal day to day life.

why not wait and have it a few days after surgery or when healed? I mean, even if you sleep eight hours after and eat or whatever, whats the NEED to have meth before getting an invasive eye procedure. What if you freak out? Meth isnt going to help your state of mind. I dont understand your reasoning of logic.

From personal experience I would say 99% of situations where you consider doing something like this is because your on a binge with an appointment in the next few days and know you cant or would rather not stop before you go, and your judgement abilites are already impaired. I dont think anybody would plan to purposely do this beforehand. That would silly.
