Meth/Amphetamines: Serious Discussion Only

I don't know if it's just me, or other people experience it.

One way i know i'm dehydrated when i'm on meth (i can not drink water at all and not feel like i'm thirsty whatsoever), is that i feel like i start coming down. I start getting tired, unmotivated, grumpy etc....but if i drink enough water, it'll shoot me straight up again.

Anyone else noticed something like this?

yeah i've noticed that too, not all the time but fair few times
sucks being dehydrated
hate cotton mouth it drives me mad
got it right now im sucking on lollipops to get it away!!
 
If your doctor isn't aware of the havoc that meth wreaks on your kidneys then I'd find a new doctor. Meth is excreted by the kidneys and is incredibly hard on them.

Yeah, it's actually my addiction doctor as well so you'd think she should know.

make sure u keep urself hydrated wen ur using - esp at high doses
drink a lot of powerade/mizone as they hydrate u very rapidly....its best to drink at least a large glass of liquid on the hr

I'm always careful to keep hydrated and always have a few bottles of powerade on hand plus my gastrolytes! I love those things. I find that my blood pressure drops reaaally low when I'm drinking so much and not eating though, even if it is the salty drinks like powerade. I'll add salt sachets to them sometimes to try and keep my blood pressure up.

i'm going to ring up a few places, decide whereabouts to seek help.

Aye DW, Majorly. Adderal and methylphenidate did nothing, caffeine helps more then either.
at my peak I was spending 200/day (2 grams), at 17!
truly an evil drug, amphetamines...

yea claire 3-4gms is too much
i think it was cos of my ADHD that i had such a high tolerance, partly
always took me more amps to get high than most ppl

i'm sort of glad meth is so expensive, cos otherwise I'd probably died by now!!!
i always find a way to get the money somehow even tho i've wasted more than a house is worth on the stuff, $400 a gram, its really ridiculous!!!!
 
I feel really sick and sore from shooting too much meth yesterday, it wasnt really that much but still.

At least the product was extremely pure so its likely im actually feeling crap from the meth rather than the other left over chemicals or cut, its far from the worst comedown ever. I did some ketamine this morning and that proved to be interesting, I should have just gone to sleep then but here I am still awake feeling crap.

It will end soon enough.

No more speed for a fair few months. Ive already done it twice in a month and thats too much for my liking so im forgetting about it for awhile.

yes even at first a point or 2 wud clam me down to the point i cud sleep
fuck $400 a G? its much more expensive over here - $750-800 for decent gear
but then i guess our dollars worth shit-all
 
Claire, that's awesome, I think you'll really like it there! If you're seeing Helen, Michelle or Michael I can assure you they're fantastic. Maybe I'll see you at the smart recovery group in the future, there's only 3 of us at the moment so it'd be good to have you :D

Well i did get some sleep, i fell asleep on the train for an hour and woke up about 20min past the station i was meant to get off at.:o:|
 
chicago here...and diff to come by. not like on da west coast or rural areas. i know im gettin taxed but didn't think it was unreasonable

actually meth isnt worth it altogether but that wasnt my opinion wen i was using so i wont comment further on that
the US dollar AFAIK is about 3X our dollar
and its usually $100 a point here
wen i first started it was $80 but as soon as it got popular it sure went up fast
and it got popular fast
noreason, out of pure sake of harm reduction, i suggest u follow eons advice and get some sleep too
its not worth it staying up too long......u may hav never suffered from methamphetamine psychosis in ur life - if so count urself lucky
once its happened once, ull b very susceptible to it coming back even after relatively little sleep deprivation
and meth psychosis for me was worse than all my worst trips put together
its the lack of sleep partly that really sends a meth user over the edge

noreason definitely dont stay up any longer.. i go completely mad after a few days on the shards, it messes with your head.

yeah i knew it was $$$. trying to get back to coke but don't have a good contact for it at the moment..having the worst luck lately. appreciate the input

btw..i find lil specs of crystals in my hair after smoking it but know that i didn't run my fingers thru it or anything. does it "pop" out of the pipe or something...anybody else?
