Is this just a "what metal are you listening to right now thread" where we pretty much just post one word answers or is it a metal discussion thread?

Anyways, I'm a HUGE metal head and have been most of my life.

Lately I am in a very interesting phase where my favorite music is usually an interesting mix of blackmetal, grindcore, death, crust and some sludge, as well as "war metal", "blackened crust" and "black thrash".

More than anything, the bands I've become fascinated with are those who mix black metal with grindcore, crust or punk.

There's a lot of other bands I've been getting into that are different from this though like: Killgasm, Weregoat, Slime in the Current, Gride, Gridlink, Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire, Faustcoven, Atrocity, Agonized, etc
 
Meshuggah's Destroy Erase Improve has been a recent favourite, and also been getting into Sepultura's earlier stuff, like pre Beneath the Remains. I've been noticing a lot of Sepultura influence in Meshuggah's work.
