Everything starts with look... and if it doesn't look like pre-ban, it's getting marked down already. =D I'm not sure how something can be the same if it looks different. That said, in my mind I can picture two different types of pre-ban - the soft snowy stuff and the stuff that looked like light brown sugar - and they were both awesome. *Goes off to Google some porny pics of pre-ban.*

Proper! thought I'd just got a tolerance or the magic would just never return. bought loads of stuff advertised as preban...

This actually was though. 1 big line to start off with and it was like the first time I ever tried the stuff. I was munted! Hopefully it'll spread round a bit!

Here's a tip, you can make any drone look like preban by crystalising it out of methanol. Works better the more done you have. I dissolved 13g into about 100ml methanol and poured it in an evaporation dish and leave it alone for a week in a cold area. When you come back you'll have the huge sugar like crystals. These can then be washed in anhydrous acetone to remove further impurities. You may find your crystals are yellow/brown after they've formed, I've had this happen a few times, but a cold acetone wash gets rid of it.
 
I've had some stuff this summer that was 95% preban quality - that proper 'e' like messiness with the coke like buzz mixed in, but maybe half a dozen times since the ban, tops, plenty of other stuff that you can have a good tear-up with (which sometimes is just as good as it's a cleaner, clearer-headed high), and some utter dross that just made my nose bleed, but that was a couple of weeks immediately after the ban when everyone was probably scrabbling round for a supplier
 
Haven't had meph since shortly after the UK ban. For the first six months I had insane cravings like nothing I'd ever experienced. 2.5 years later I still get occasional pangs. But that's what you get for too much too often.
 
Does 99.9% meph still exist?

As above, what happened to all the labs producing pre-ban? Are there any countries where it's still legal? I have to hold onto hope that there is still good stuff around tho? :(

Does this mean the stuff around now is different from preban? How much did it weigh once you'd finished the process?

It is a seriously addictive drug. More so than cocaine in my opinion. I've never been doing keys of coke at work on a thursday cos I'd been up sniffing all wednesday night...

Got to be. Chem structure almost the same as meth as far so could make out. And it was in a shop just round the corner! Bloody good times while they lasted, but that ban probably saved loads of people from some bad ones... Mental! ;-)

Agreed, can't believe I'm typing this as I certainly don't favor prohibition, but the ban saved my ass. If it had stayed legal I would have certainly have lost my girlfriend, septum and most probably my job too...

For sure. The joys of coke elude me. That said, I could manage my meph use by being careful with what/when I ordered, or sometimes posting it back to myself if I bought a large amount and only wanted to do so much in a session. 8) I did end up staying up on it all night on a work night at least a couple of times, though... Not good!

Yep. Was there too. Night before ban was the worst/best. The local wiseguy gave bagfuls of the shit away. The best customers got the most. I look back and think 'stupid', but a cool scene emerged at the time.
 
in any way

i never used to get heart palps until i started bashing meph. then i stopped for ages, hardly touch it anymore, and even now if i drink too much coffee i get minor palps and feel kinda rough after it. that never used to happen before. but i guess any stim could have triggered that. but nothing used to make my heart bang like that stuff
