I live in hope that I may find a hidden baggie of pre-ban, but I doubt it. I used to snort bits of fluff and what not off surfaces if it meant getting a tiny speck of meph. :o

Come off it, dude! Remember those days when you'd grab your credit card, go online and the stuff that would turn up in the next 48 hours would be GUARANTEED top drawer shit. =D I don't think we'll ever see days like that again. I'm amazed I had 2 years of such freedom (not that it didn't send me down some bad roads, but still...).

It was all about the timing. Order 1g on Wed night, posted Thursday, 99.999% of the time arrived Friday. It not being too handy was the best way to control the habit. I'd hate to know someone IRL who could be round the house with meph at the drop of a hat.

I remember buying it in ever increasing amounts online, to the point of getting it for a fiver a gram, then saturday afternoon bagging it up for the nights session, fucking piles of the stuff, it looked like a scene off Scarface, giggling like a naughty child at the sheer stupidity of it all. Didn't help me control the habit one bit, ironically the ban helped me curb it as all of a sudden I had to pay street prices for stuff that was 75% as good at best, but yes I cannot imagine days like that returning, I'll never forget it...
 
preban days were mental. me and a mate used to be hard at it every weekend if not more than that for months on end. i remember the first time i bought some i did a big key of it in town and thought fuck this is shite. then BOOOOOM! walking around in broad daylight whopped to the chops lol. but i regret ever going near it now because i not have a deviated septum and the surface of the inside of my nose is mainly scar tissue never mind what it done to my heart and cardiovascular system. a dirty yet beautiful drug! i think iv only tried it once since i stopped after the ban and i was shocked that it looked like K. I was used to the little sparkling crystals or the fluffy powder stuff.
 
Touch wood, I seem to be in good condition after a couple of years of meph use and pretty much quitting due to lack of decent stuff. I do a lot of weights and running now and my system seems fine.
 
You do have to be careful with meph - can easily tip into anxiety. It's why it eventually became a stay in drug for me.
 
never got anxious on it. but afterwards it would leave me anxious for days

I miss mephedrone.
I was relatively new to the stim scene about a year before meth got banned. I was just a weed, speed and coke man but not to any major extent. My mrs gave me a pill (crap one at that) to give me a boost one NYE as I have always been curious E's.
a few weeks later I was given some legal highs. Thought it can't be that bad it's legal! First time was just a bit speedy and thought nothing of it. I was only a gram split three ways and I am bigger than the average bear so it didn't hit me that much. I decided to buy 10g off the net for me n the mrs to see us through the party season in the summer. We were sitting having a few lagers and watching tv and decided to have a few bombs of drone. Sitting relaxing I could feel it kick in. Beautiful rush starting in my legs moving up my body. The mrs wrapped another bomb just as I thought I was peeking. Dropped that with a gulp of lager 15m later I was feeling the most amazing rush of my life! BANG! My jaw was shaking in time with my eyes. Touching, tasting, feelings and emotions all feeling amazing. THIS WAS MY NEW THING!
We used to take it quite a lot per ban and doses were getting bigger each time but we still managed to keep the high.
After the ban we finished our last bag and started to level out a bit. She wasn't fussed but I still wanted the high. I tried other legals like Spell-weaver. Total shit that was and made a paranoid wreck for 5days after. So I turned to Mandy (MDMA crystal) this got me properly fucked but still not the same rush as drone and gives me a horrible comedown.
I just wish I could have one more weekend on the best drug I have ever taken in my life....

Rice-like shards sounds like 4-MEC.... which is much more readily available than 4-MMC at the moment...
 
How long is meph likely to last stored in a dark, airtight, room temp place? Can't really tell if the bit I found hidden away is any good due to my nose being so fucked I can't really sniff anything any more. It's really hard to crush down compared to what I remember and makes me more sweaty and uncomfortable than buzzing.

Have tried bombing it but that was never the same even "back in the day" so I can't really tell if it's degraded.
