I suppose it was inevitable that something like this would happen. With the legal grey area it inhabited, it's sale's always hush hush so there just hasn't been enough information out there and even less sensible discussion but plenty of the usual self righteous, ignorant, middle class hysteria. Young lads like these just assume it's completely safe because you can get it on the internet and go crazy while Daily Mail readers think it's Satan's dandruff.
The stupid thing is that there's been evidence to suggest that it was more physically harmful than MDMA from the start yet it sems unlikely that the country as a whole will spot the link between banning stuff like MDMA and worse things coming along: the news seems to have singularly failed to mention the existence of methylone, butylone or any of the myriad of other drugs available on the same websites that flog meph so I doubt the RC peddlers will be crying into their beer, especially as they're potentially sitting on a goldmine if meph does get made illegal.
More likely that the whole sordid, pointless cycle will continue ad nauseam whilst these two young lads have become yet more casualties our country's outdated and gutless drugs laws.
RIP.
