Mephedrone Megathread VII: Misunderstood Marvels & Malingering Metabolites

Does anyone know if it would be dangerous to take 15mg of Mirtazapine to help get to sleep after i had a gram today? I havnt got access to any kind of benzos.

Take it on the chin and try and sleep without any aid. I find 3-4 hours after last dose is sleeping time for me. Only thing i ever take is a couple of anti-histamines, and i've no idea if that even helps. :)

15mg is quite low for that antidepressant. You really should use this to sleep on. I find it makes me feel quite disjointed and withdrawn the next day. Not a good thing.

Yea i get it on prescription, 15mg is a low dose but i find that to be the best dose for sleep. I think i will just try to do as The Kid said because i dont really fancy risking it and i cant find any other information about the combo on the net.
 
It'll definitely be banned by the end of June. If it isn't banned by the end of March (which I personally doubt it will be) I think it's very unlikely it will be banned till after the election.

No way - unless you mean they will *announce* a forthcoming ban. I'm not sure of the details but it's not feasible to classify a substance in such a short time without having publicised it. My bet is on very late 2010/early 2011

I hope you're right, but they could fast track this kind of thing through parliament if they have the will. Amendments to the MoDA normally happen at the end of June and end of December. The home secretary has said that banning mephedrone is a key priority and that he expects a report from the ACMD in early March. This is why I think it will be end of June at the latest.

When did they announce the banning of GBL, synthetic cannabinoids and piperazines?

25th of August apparently. Considering the high levels of mephedrone use, media attention and public concern compared to any of the above I think an end of June banning is very possible.
 
Hmmm I'm not sure how easily they could fast track it. I remember all the fuss that was going on about GBL being this lethal date rape drug for a while before action was finalised (though I guess there was all the pressure from industry).

In my own opinion, I still think the gov will do this nice and slow and by the book (announcement in summer, actual ban in december much like with the other stuff last year). And if they're only receiving a report from the ACMD in march, I think it will take a month or 2 for a complete final decision to be reached (not that there is any doubt as to what decision they will reach, I just mean navigating all the protocol will take time).

I guess we just wait and see :/ I wonder if paypal and google checkout will be able to handle all the traffic in the weeks before the ban comes into effect :)

Paypal and google checkout do not support mephedrone, well I guess they do but they steal the money from vendors.

I'm not clued up enough to know the names of typical meph purchase transaction companies :/. Was just trying to put a light spin on the fact that there will be a pretty huge rush to buy lots and lots (and lots) in the last days/weeks of its legality :)
 
i can't believe how popular this shit is, done it a couple of times before but in 09

Just bought two caps from a head shop so should be proper quality, had two lines...pretty dissapointing i think.

Nothing even remotely like a decent line of coke or a decent pill. its like somewhere between and not as good as either =/
