Mephedrone Megathread VII: Misunderstood Marvels & Malingering Metabolites

Off out tonight and shall be sampling the mephedrone properly for the first time. Would a 150-200mg bomb followed by another a few hours later do the trick for the inexperienced? Or should we start of even lower?

Thaaanks

as you've tried it before and don't have any bad reaction to it i'd say you'll be fine going with 200mg bombs

go with 250mg. if its good crystal mephedrone you'll be feeling awesome, infact it could do you the night

if it's good powder mephedrone you'll also be feeling awesome

:|

1 probably wont last you a whole night out whatever the quality as mephedrone simply isn't that long lasting

Anyone else received any sharp, stabbing pain to their heart area?

I've only taken roughly 600mg a few hours ago and when I breath in I occasionally get these pains. Isn't that painful; more like a stitch. Feels like it's coming from the heart.

First time it's happened to me.

When you say heart area - do you actually mean chest area? ie: Under the ribcage?

My 'theory' is that this pain is caused by acid reflux after taking meph - especially on an empty stomach. As I have mentioned in other posts, most stimulants, including meph, increase the production of stomach acid. This, combined with meph seemingly putting you GI system into some sort of spasm, pushes acid up your oesophagus causing the pain - coincidentally in the same area as your heart (or where you think your heart is!)

I wouldn't describe it as a sharp, stabbing pain though - more, as your say, like a stitch.

Definitely "seemed" to be coming from the heart area, but it only hurt if I were to take a deep breath in.

Thanks for your explanation; it seems to fit what I was experiencing especially as I haven't had much food (will get some now! :D). The stitch lasted less than an hour, so no big deal.

Have heard about acid and mephedrone before (probably from your posts), as I try not to have orange juice the next day as it could make things worse.

What food/drink would be appropriate in reducing the stomach acid?

EDIT
Sorry I know, google prior to asking a question.

Apparently milk is very good, and I read that chewing gum also helps?

A doctor once told me that acid reflux / heartburn is commonly mistaken for a heart attack and people go to A&E with it - and trapped gas as well, as that can be very painful.

But having said all that, there is no reason to ignore it. Just keep an eye on it and don't start to worry yourself I'm sure people are giving themselves additional symptoms through mild anxiety!

I have found exactly the same. :) Fruit juice is terrible for me when on meph. I can feel the acid build up and give me a bit of nausea within about half a glass - so i don't drink it any more after meph.

I suppose taking some Andews Answer antacid stuff might help. And yes, strangely enough I accidently found milk to be very good. It's also helpful for cleanly washing any of 'the drip' down your throat.

Chewing gum is the worst idea for reducing stomach acid. Chewing gum makes the mouth and stomach think it is going to get food, and as a result you salivate more and with that comes the the creation of stomach acid in preparation for food, but no food comes as you are chewing gum. So you have excess stomach acid.

I agree with F&B, cheese toastie. In my experience it's perfect for drug abused stomachs, a capsule sarnie of all the right nutritions for your needy stomach, and tasty too! I like them with chillies, extra endorphins :)

The best thing for your stomach would ne something like a cheese toastie (this time without chillies). Fat, protein & complex carbohydrate in almost perfect proportions

Awesome. Any excuse to have a cheese toastie is good news! ;)

Zantac is top notch for stopping acid reflux. The active ingredient potentiates amphetamines, however. I don't know how this would work with mephedrone.

they'll set a date, emergency just means it'll be before july 1st

that's a local paper, it's got fuck all pull, if the sun or some other national moron rag got behind it it would have more of an effect

how woud the goverment let the public no the date it was going to be banned woud they put it on a goverment website or what

well it'll be announced on the home office site and generally by the press as well...

dont no if this has already been posted or not. i reckon mephedrone will get a urgent bann soon. woud the goverment set a date for a urgent ban or just suddenly make it illegal one day with out warning ?

Excellent link been head %)

The best thing is the Comments made by readers, who seem to be a bit brighter than the paper's editorial staff....

True! Just read a few of them , this one I like:

If it's not illegal, how are the police seizing it?

And any chance we could get a fully detailed explanation of what happened to the people who collapsed after taking it? Was it directly after? Did they take anything else? Drink much? Spend 8 hours in a nightclub? How many people in York collapsed and required medical attention, but didn't take mephedrone? We need a balanced argument before being told
what to think.
