Mephedrone Megathread: Fourth Redose

After about 2-2.5gs ingested and snorted over the past 4 weeks or so I'm pretty convinced that it's time to lay off the meph indefinitely. The prevailing mood on here seems to have turned against the substance.

i wouldnt be surprised ,i used a stainless steel spoon end to measure out etc and it stripped the stainless steel coating off

Alright well you guys seem to have the most experience with Mephedrone.

Thinking about using it at a party in combination with either 2C-B or 2C-I. Both 20mg.

Which is going to be better do you think? And what timing should I take them?
Eg. Should I have the 2Cx and the drone near the end or the other way around, as I hear 2cb towards the end of MDMA will take away some of the come down symptoms.

Or should I just leave the drone for the night after? And trip at the party on one of the 2C's?

Yep there's such a thing as cumulative toxicity that can occur from the build up of toxic(ish) metabolites that last a lot longer (have a half life) that the parent compound eg ketamine & norketamine. As bugger all is known about it's metabolism (that 4-methyl group totally eliminates the possibility of metabolism by para-hydroxylation of the benzene ring a la amphetamine), so there's a possibilty of a long lived metabolite; the tachycardia that persists way past the (wanted) effects of the drug could be indicating such






Thinking you should call it a day with the meph for the reason given above. Dosing in a manner you've mentioned is a sure fire way ro find out if it's metabolized to an ugly metabolite with a long half life, with potentially disasterous results





In light of this, makes the above behaviour even more foolhardy/dangerous as you have no idea how you will react to a normal dose, never mind from adding an extra 100mg every 45 mins for god knows how long



PS If you feel ill tomorrow, I'd stay quiet as after the above I don't think there'll be a lot of sympathy for mephedrone piggyness

Well I had hoovered up approx 1.2g by 5am this morning which meant I'd spread it over 18hrs,I also combined the meph with several bombs of speed.This is where I feel I have to be mindful of what I should say as,for starters,I wouldn't want to advocate my own experience as acceptable to others, nor do I see any point in refuting the advice I was given.I am a greenlighter and as such I will refrain from sticking my oar in until I better understand how to post responsibly.Cheers all.

Without starting a whole new thread on metallurgy, you dont get stainless steel plated cutlery,just stainless steel, more likely it was chrome or electroplate.Point taken though, and forget tooth enamel...what about the fillings??!!!!

well it took the top layer off and started to corrode the spoon,not sure if it was a good spoon or a crap one i use for work yoghurts n stuff so ye could be right,i binned it anyway,point is it corroded it over a weekend,
so whats it do to yer lungs etc if you snort it,prob wouldnt do much harm bombed, due to acids etc

Sorry to post this but reading the megathreads and been reading a variation of answers to come downs.

Does this substance give a come down yes or no? lol

To my understanding it is similar to MDMA but not as intense and is very binge heavy due to short lasted effects.

Sounds like a wonder drug if the no comedown side is true?

I didn't experience a come down as such, felt a bit sapped and lethargic though.Curiously,and it might have been my imagination, I felt a craving for oily fish and porrige!!It was a good power munch though!!!!

Just got to post my experience. There has been a lot of talk about 'batches' and subjective effects.

I have to admit that I have found a huge difference between the smelly powdery stuff, and the crystal batch that I have been getting over the last month.

The powdery stuff is no less potent but did give the following effects.

Gave a lot more residual stimulation. I.E. couldn't sleep for many, many hours afterward....even into the next day. I did also get a next day 'come down' and felt the effects from it(over and above the sleep deprivation)

Now the crystal batch.......A few very noticable differences.

First off, the compulsive side of it is attrotious. Personally it turns me onto a cock obsessed freak (my own cock!!). The horn never goes away. For others the compulsiveness (in public) is very apparent too.
I am able to get to sleep easier on this batch.
Next day I also have a bit of a glow.

I am unable to explain why there is such a difference but for me it is very noticable.

I don't know where you get you're spoons from but stainless steel doesn't have any kind of coating to strip off, as it's an alloy, so I think you've been conned by a cutlery salesman in the electroplating business.

Even so, none of the 4-mmc samples I've come across have exhibited any particularly corrosive qualities, I've been using the same stainless steel knife for the past 8 months or so to chop up 4-mmc and similar substances on a regular basis and it's not even begun to develop a patina of any note. Dissapointing really.

Gave me a really nasty come down after taking about a g over an evening. Felt really terrible but still had a slight after glow, bit odd.

Now that's a bone of contention....

Never had a comedown off meph before myself but I do feel tired the next day if I don't get 8 hours sleep whether I have been taking drugs or not.

Maybe those that feel shit the next day have been mixing it with other drugs, drinking alcohol with it or only getting a couple of hours sleep.

Or maybe it just does not agree with you like M1 does not agree with me and makes me feel shit for days afterwards.

Like Ceres I have been using the same stainless steel letter opener to divide and mix my meph in water, weekly since may and it is still in pristine condition.

hey guys - new here but have been peeking about for a little while.
first heard of meph after some mates came back from Brighton Pride raving about some new stuff,called mephsomething or other!then a couple of weeks back some more mates were also raving about it.
so in the past i've been a fan of mdma & or pills and the occasional bit of G when i go clubbing - as there isn't any good mdma around (and my research brought me to this forum)
and having read the comments about meph i took the plunge and got myself some.
first order never arrived (just took my money!! the f&ckers!) and so i tried another source.
it's here - and i'm off clubbing this weekend.

so here is the thing - i've read that a good first dose is 250 (?) and the best way to take is to bomb (?)
but my scales won't measure the amount i have, so any suggestions for measuring/what to use as a guide ? might be a really stupid question.
when taking mdma i usually just take a few dabs on my finger but i guess that's not a good idea with this stuff ?
any help appreciated.

If you have a gram then divide it by 4. If you have 20 grams divide that by 8 to get 1.25g

What about keeping the high. I have read in a few places that re-dosing every half an hour or so can keep the actual peak to last for a few more hours than the standard ~2 hours from one dose.

Say if I started off with 200-250mg when should I re-dose again? How much should I re-dose? And how long between doses?

I didnt get much of a comedown the first 2 times then after that it got worse and worse each time for me and the people i take it with.
