Mephedrone Megathread: Five heart attacks later...

everyone seems to be so far behind the times with drugs round here at the moment. still not heard anything of meph being sold on the street. i've only spoke to two other crowds of people that i don't hang about with who have bought some from the internet.

i've seen some shouts on a glasgow based techno forum of people ordering it online but still no mention of it being sold by "dealers"

maybe it is rife amongst crowds of people that i have no contact with but i doubt it.
 
Like alcoholics and smokers then, Colt? All their fault for being stupid cos it's legal. Nowt to do with being highly addictive and losing control of their own actions at all? Or simply not realising the addictive potential until it's too late?

Education and honest information is all that can be offered to counter abuse and that ain't coming anytime soon :\
 
meph around here has taken over from ket. ket was basically for most people, the only drug that wasnt cut so much that it didnt work. now there drone about and people can get it as easy as ket it seems to be what every one is doing. when there used to be very high grade coke and mdma crystal around i dont think it woud of got looked at.

yeah most likely lol. one of my favourite activities while on it is to attempt to perform telekinesis. things seem to move and warp and i use the power of mind to move them.

i know someone who sells coke and he's been moaning that he doesn't get many phonecalls because people would rather get some meph. i don't fault them one bit either, the buzz is way better than some 10% pure bullshit. maybe it will make dealers supply better wuality stuff, hopefully same goes for mdma/pills.

I did some meph on Sunday. It was a bank holiday here in Ireland on Monday so a gang of us went to the pub to watch the Liverpool v Man utd game. I am pretty crap at handling my drink nowadays and if I have more than 4 pints I get really tired. I brought half a gramme of Meph with me and I just bombed it in small amounts througout the day.

I was in the pub from 2pm until Midnight. I didnt drink that much in the end (about 5 pints over the 10 hours) but by midnight I was starting to feel tired so i went home. If I had have brought more meph with me im sure I would have done it but nowadays (mainly because the comedown from Meph for me is pretty bad) I tend to just bring a set amount out and no more.

I have 5 grammes of it at home but have no desire to do any more of it until the next time I head out with mates.. that probably wont be for another 2 weeks.
 
Meph in Ireland. How popular is it?

I have been using Meph a number of times since the summer. Prob around twice a month. I can see how people like doing it as it is very moreish and nowdays when I go out I just bring a certain amount with me.

I was out with a gang of friends on Sunday and none of them had heard about Meph before and these guys would be pretty clued in on the different types of drugs. I only heard about it from this site and from there I ordered some and tried it and loved it. I have got my mates intrigued now so it probably wont be too long before they are all trying it.

Is there many people in Ireland trying it? I reckon I am the only person here in Cavan who is trying it :)
 
EADD is based in Cavan so as you can see there are plenty of others here on it...Shambles is in Cavan, as are the toxic twins - Mugabe and Angelsmoke. At least 50 other people here are in Cavan. Basically we all live in a squat and do 4g's a day each. We're on the edge of town.Apart from me, I'm in England and do 150 g's a week.

We even have a head shop in Cavan now. Things are progressing
 
Meph dosage?

Hey all.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers on a reccomended dosage for first time meph users. Whilst I've used it before on a few occasions it was sold to me by a third party as 'bubbles' and I couldn't give a defendable estimate on the quantity these contained. I have a fair amount of experience with empathogenic stimulants besides meph myself (MDMA, MDA, MDPV, PDPPP) but this weekend I'll be sharing with a group of friends and those few who have any nous with this class of chemical have very little experience to go on. I'll probably be dropping around 200mg myself to start with (feel free to suggest adjustments there as well) but don't want to accidentally reccomend a dose that would be pretty moderate for myself but'll have them clutching their seats for the rest of the night.

So, suggestions?

Edit: Just realised that I've posted this within an existing thread rather than creating a new one. Sorry if it causes any hassle but it may be for the best seeing as its a fairly simple question and pretty undeserving of an entire thread.

^ Hey man, welcome to BL :) yes 200mg is a good starting dose. I did 150mg first time, but 200 would be better I'd say.

Sorry to say this hear on your first time, but my fried just told me today.. He was at the doctors after a binge, he had elevated levels of CKMB, the test which only shows the heart damage thats occured in the last 24hours but.. :| not good. He has been heavy on it since January, but is far from being the worst of people I know. I think hes actually on here as Squid0 but doesn't post much.

Hi folks I'm new here but thought I would share my thoughts on this subject.

Having just discovered mephedrone I have done a bit of research into it.After reading many articles I decided I would give it a try. I ordered 2g off the internet and it arrived this morning. The wife was working so about 11.30 this morning I put 200mg in a capsule and swallowed it.

After about half an hour I was comming up on it and thought I would have a little line. Very nice. Then I had one more. BANG!!!

What an incredible hit. Just like my first E back in 1990. Realy amazing. I did 1g this afternoon. I am keeping the other one for the weekend.

My thoughts are as follows: It is a very powerfull stim. DO NOT ABUSE it. I learned my lesson after fighting a coke addiction for a few years.

Take occasionally by all means but NOT every weekend or you will spoil it. I now feel quite good. Still a little wasted but managed to eat my tea with the Missus!

^ A gram in an afternoon really isn't so wise with such a toxic compound. Just asking for serious problems down the line.

He posted his description of his hospital visit in the OD meph thread and I reposted it in the EADD one. Scary stuff and the first real evidence (other than the deaths when combined with other drugs) of serious problems from relatively short-term use I've seen. This stuff just gets less and less appealing by the second :|

Cheers, I didn't feel 200mg was too unreasonable a hit but you can never be sure and when one of the upsides to RC's is reliable purity it seems best to take advantage of it and make sure you get your doses right.

As for your mate, sorry to hear he's ended up having to go to the doctor but perhaps he'll moderate his use a bit more in future because of it. I used to be quite a heavy MDMA user and it wasn't really until the supply dried up that I realised I had to get my demand under control.
 
EDIT: @ Shambles ^ Indeed you are right there. I enjoyed it while I used it, but it fucked me up, no doubts. I did think it was like MDMA a bit, but after months of meph and going back to the real thing.. There is no comparison, MDMA blows meph out of the water on every level in my eyes!

He's a sound lad, and has since stopped taking it. Could you link me to his post please Shambles? I think it happened around 1 month ago. I won't be taking meph again after what he has said, it sounds worse and worse every time I hear more. I really wish I hadn't tried it as I did a fair bit :\
