Have you experienced any of the horrible side effects Baron?

It worries me that people here are only considering 'cutting down' usage when it is quite clearly becoming a huge problem, a lot of addict-denial going on :\

So if I take 70 grams I'll lose 2 stone. Had a few too many curries lately so I'll remember that

W0W. I don't like to be "preachy" to anyone, but in the interest of your own safety you should really consider cutting down and eventually stopping. You seem to have quite a habit there. You have to remember this is an untested RC with little known about the short / long terms health implications. We can safely say its not going to have a positive impact on your health, so moderation is definably the key. 70g in a month is WAY to much. Please consider cutting down.

One of the prohibition crews biggest arguments is that the state needs to nanny us to protect us from ourselves. Why do we delight in feeding ammunition to the opposition?

Coinciding with the election of a Tory government I can see this legal highs shitness ending in the biggest anti-drugs shitstorm we've ever seen. When it comes we'll all be going 'fuck the government man'.

How about 'fuck us'?

I'll defend anyones right to put into their body whatever they want. I'll argue the point that prohibition is responsible for creating an unregulated legal highs market and can we please have our mdma back and stop all this nonsense. But I ain't defending stupidity.

Too many people with more money than sense.

The dumb thing is that last year I was 100% for full legalisation of all drugs. And whilst I still believe this, I can't help doubt my own position when "educated" drug users are going so mental on meph. What are the "less educated" drug users doing....a key a month?

Maybe it's better when drugs are banned. Most BLers seems to do alright at getting hold of the drugs they want, so maybe we should say fuck the rest and keep things illegal?
 
I was talking to someone about this the other day, I'm generally for full decriminilisation/legalisation of drugs, but I honestly can't wait for Mephedrone to be banned because educated or not they're in total denial and abusing the shit out of it seemingly without a care. The information is out there, but they choose to ignore it.

It doesn't help that most of the legal drugs can also be the most destructive (mephedrone/mdpv/gbl/alcohol), and there is also the element of binge culture along with it.

EADD seems to be worse off than the other regional forums on BL.

All I care about now is the decriminilisation of weed...maybe acid and ket too...and MDMA and opium.
 
Good points SHM and Kid. One thing I'd add - if MDMA was legally available would anybody bother with Meph and the other RC's? I wouldn't for one..

If MDMA was legally available I doubt anyone would be wasting time synthesizing RCs that try to mimic its effects.

What does that have to do whether its legal or not? Heroin junkies are everywhere, even though the drug is illegal.

The legality of the substance seems to make people feel there are no downsides to taking stacks of the drug.

I agree. But I see that as another argument in favour or complete legalisation with the emphasis put on information, education and harm reduction rather than a reason to ban it. When meph is banned it'll probably sink back into obscurity cos it's hardly the best drug out there and if you're going to take the risk of prison then you'd rather take the risk for a decent drug. Maybe. But it's become so incredibly popular it may be too late for that.

As things stand, banning meph will most likely mean it continues to be sold only cut with fuck knows what making it even more dangerous. Keep it legal and legalise everything else too. If those "uneducated" users who cane multiple grams cos "legal stuff's safe innit" had the facts to go on and the choice of buying that or MDMA or coke or speed or whatever what would they be buying? None of them are exactly good for you but at least they would be making an informed choice and the money saved from the War on Drugs bullshit could be put into education and addiction treatment instead.

And sorry for jumping on the bandwagon, but 70g Baron?!? Seriously - chill out on the stuff before you become EADD's very own meph death <3
 
^ took my words Shambles, Baron, sort it out man, for your own sake. I didn't mean that to come across as agressive but after all the bad effects people complain about that amount cannot be doing you any good at all.
