Melbs Meetup - 24th April - Lounge @ Docklands - ROLL CALL!

lounge or docklands, ive never been to the docklands either actually, but theyre both fine with me so ill raise my hand. and yeah, fitzroy is just too much of a fuck around, and once ive had a few drinks getting home is even worse... that said id still probably go there too.... im easy =D (specially after a few drinks ;))
 
Docklands sounds cool, but I've never really been down there, I'll ask some friends who live in the area if there is anything good down there. Otherwise we could all meet somewhere and mission down there together.
 
can we make it a dinner meetup instead of a luch meet up? thats why i couldnt go to the other one, cos i have to work on saturdays :(

then we could all go out for drinks after or smth.....?
 
I'd be all for making it dinner instead of lunch. Been a while since I've actually gone out to dinner with people not my folks or close family. Figure its about time I started doing it again :)

well i doubt i can make it, i just found out that i have an outing to hanging rock on the 24th (im guessing that the 24th is the day ur talkin bout)
and i really cant miss this outing considering im a leader in the youth group

I feel sorry for the kids in that youth group. They're gonna be very messed up kids in the near future :\

In reality, if you start it at 2pm, which is kinda late-lunch, then I'd assume that people would be wishing to hang around for a good few hours anyway. So those people who cant make it for the 'lunch' meetup can make their way in at a later time and hang out while those who desperately need to go home and crack out the fluffies for the long night ahead can do so when they wish.

All really depends on whether there are people who were going on the intention of hanging around for as many hours as possible really.

Well, I would. Or I'd stay and meet the folks turning up for dinner but not hang around to watch them eat their meal. It's just not that easy for me to go out to dinner, we have a lot of early mornings at my place :\
 
all right im in :) i will actually take the night off work for this one to so i can stick around longer.

this sounds good - it means i can turn up at some random time and then avoid dinner (money = ghey :(), but still get to say hi to all.

still haven't checked if i'm actually free yet...i should probably get onto that :D
 
after organising this unsure now if i can make it :\ Will either be down sometime saturday now or sunday.....will try and make it saturday.....:\
 
well i will be taking the night off work so people can get pissed on beer with me ;)

note: it will be good to drink the beer myself rather than spill it over my top half ;)
 
you get paid for pouring beer over your boobs?

cept for the cleaning up afterwards, I guess
 
I'll chuck in my 0.22c and say that if you're thinking of the docklands, we should go to the lounge room, if only because I know the sous chef and can get cheapies. (But you guys can't coz ya smell)
