If you are a loser like me & don't want to miss out on anything, use the reminders in your mobile to prompt you when someone you wanna see is playing!!

Not only will you not miss any of the "must see" DJ's but if you keep it in your back pocket you will get a nice little tingle in your bottom at least once every hour!! hehe :p
 
I wouldn't feel my mobile anyways......i'm a dancing the whole time.....plus the back pocket in my phatties ends around the back of my knee.....that'd just tickle... :\
 
[electrobot] - no that's the indoor courts, the yarra room is much MUCH smaller.
 
Hardware isn't the Yarra Room......it's the Function Centre + Skyline Rooms according to the flyer.....

Here's the full list of what rooms = what rooms....

GK = Vodafone
Future = RLA
Planet Hardware = Function Centre + Skyline Rooms
The Garden = Outdoor Gardens (rear of RLA)
One Perfect VIP = Cafe Arena
Futurebreaks = Yarra Room A
Family = Function Centre River Room
The Riot Room = Vodafone West Wing
NRG v Rising Sons = Yarra Room B

So Hardware will be i think the 2 remaining function rooms after Family takes the River Function Room....? But what is the Skyline Rooms?

Fuck!!! Need clarification......need to dig up the GK03 thread from last year with explanations on rooms etc....
 
whoops my bad, I coulda sworn richie said the yarra room but I was wrong.

Now i'm really confused. I recall richie or mark james saying it was the room that they used at GK last year, but that room seemed a lot smaller than the 'function room' which was the Slinky room at TT2001...maybe i've just gotten bigger or something.

Either way...
 
Where the hell are all these extra rooms?!? The only ones I know of are the three that are off to the side of Rod Laver Arena? And does this mean that the Indoor Courts arent being used this year? Thats odd, I wonder if they're gonna do something with the space?

I'm going to this with no real desire to see any of the people who are playing this year. Which shall be good as I can go do whatever I want and wont be worried about missing anyone's set. I think its gonna be fun, even if I spend all night sitting on the lawns.

Yep those are the ones. At GK they rocked hard, Saunderson in one, Holden in another, hard crap in the 3rd :p

I preferred them heaps more than the main arena.
 
so are the Function Centre + Skyline Rooms any good?

just as long as the sound is sweet, i dont really care :D
 
The sound by far is the most important aspect of the night, especially the hardware room, I wouldnt give a shit if the other rooms dont put the effort, please hardware put a smile on our face, sound is the key.
 
Yeah the function rooms are sweet indeed.....just the right size, close proximity to each other + RLA, and nice chill area on the balcony looking into the city :) Yep, i would say Hardware is the Park Room and the Skyline Room (two thirds of the whole function centre) and Family is the River Room (the other third)....as for the Yarra Rooms i have never heard of them.....

I wonder if they are the upstairs rooms in Vodafone that they used for Lee Coombs + Breaks @ Slinky last year....if so, thats a cool area....

And sound? The function centre was perfect for it i think last year (except for the very start when i had to inform the sound guy that sound was only coming out of one of the speaker towers in the Nukleuz room.....fucking sad noone else noticed :p)...
