People who really want to go to a meetup will generally make the effort.

I was trying to recommend somewhere that wasnt Rod Laver arena, coz from past experiences, at around 11-12am there is normally around 3 thousand people wandering through that single area at any given time, which makes for a bit of a pain in the arse if you were trying to meet people and want to stand around and chat for a bit.

However, its worked before, last year everyone turned up there. So if thats the place people feel comfortable turning up to then make it there.

I would say that we'll hafta wait till the official set times have been released to work out a concrete time, but I'd assume somewhere between 11-12am. Internationals start playing after that time.

Good call about thousands ruining your meetup fun around RLA high traffic area StaceyRox.....is RaveSafe going to be there again? I would say so. If so, maybe we'll make it RaveSafe again like @ GK last year.....worked well then once they set it up (late) ;)

And yep, i'm hunting for set times too......will prolly be released this time next week i think.....*jumps round excitedly*

PS.....[electrobot], you're going to see Vitalic? Wow, you havent mentioned that before ;)...hehe....i'll see you there front + centre....

hmm...ravesafe....well we heard about the meetup at GK half an hour after it was on. so if we're relying on ravesafe to set up in time for our meetup then......well....you know.

whats at the end of those three function rooms?? does the balcony thing keep going? if not, that might be a good place for a meetup. no one will miss it by standing 20m to the wrong side and not seeing anyone cos there's a thousand ppl passing through.

...or not. last year's meet-up at two tribes had about thirty or forty people there, so i'd hate to see where "everyone" was :)
 
hey i kinda remember a bit of last years one... but most of the night is blurry xept for the football sized cockroaches chasing after me. maybe sum of u remember me... white pants and blue top with blue face and arms (hint: dont bodypaint yourself as it may cause u to overheat). but yeh didnt really get to meet any1 but would like to this year since i aint a forum junkie yet. still have no clue what to do this year for it but i aint going as a smurf again
 
I know this might be a little early, but is there a chance of getting our hands on roughly wat the dj times will look like, just need to plan shit out on the day. Let us know.

Two Tribes sell out? hah. From recent years they seem to just keep selling them.... regardless of how many people the venue actually holds. 8(

Earlybirds only went off sale like a week ago or something so I think you should be all good.

Downloaded a live set of Vitalic from last October (well, only 41% of it actually cause my fuckin d/l prog fucked up grrr!!!)....but it is fucking great.....much techier than the songs i have heard which are very electro tech.....this is more techno with an electro slant...NICE! :D

wow this has come round pretty fast. only two more weeks! i am determined not to spend the entire time walking round trying to find people which is what i always seem to do... and then everyones faces blend into the friends that i'm trying to find and oh... it's way too painful. but fuck yeah - this will be fun! :)
