Melbourne meetup - Saturday 20th March - Bimbo Deluxe

oooh the meetup i went to last time was tres fun! And yay for saturdays! NO WORK FOR MEE!

HOWEVER....
at risk of sounding like a true fool what is the "bimbo Deluxe" of which u all speak?
 
cheapass pizzas only for lunch- otherwise there quite expensive for a bit of pita, lightly covered with cheap toppings which would cost $1 to make!
Blossom: Bimbo delux is the high gloss, decored to the eye-balls ediface that stands on the corpse of the punters club! :(
*sigh* when i was a lad going to brunswick st was all about getting jugs at the evelyn whilst being underage or going to the cellars and getting drunk in a side street and then playing pool and eating souvas.... not very glamourous but these were the days when brunswick st still had deros inhabiting several well known and now trendy street corners. Move it to the derby and i may reconsider.
 
arg...well the last one i went to was fun...it lasted like 6hours of drinkn beer ;)

pencil me in as a maybe...depends really on where i am at the time...as i have some thngs comming up soon that need attention first...*shrugs*
 
I'll be there (as if i ever wasn't). Bimbo has all the critical elements for a successful meetup; cool venue, does food and most importantly, is in close proximity to Brunswick St Goodfellows ;)
 
excellent. me and catax are practically on the same boat. near the same area as well. oh well :)
im coming to melbourne this friday, by plane :) looking forward to it a lot!
 
^^ thats ok, I've never met anyone from the far northern suburbs either.
 
^ About the same, but from the opposite direction. The new South Eastern Citylink is awesome I must admit. Deposits you at Punt road and then it's maybe, 10 minutes from there?

However that's DRIVING... if I were taking public transport (which I probably will be, if I'm drinking) it could be up to 1 1/2 hrs.

^^^If it makes you feel any better, I'm coming from Sydney...though I guess that's only an hour on the plane, which beats an hour & a half. Um. I'll shut up now. =D

Oh yeah, I knew there was a reason I wanted to write something....I'm moving this to Events kids, I hope to see y'all there with bells on! =D =D =D
 
Last time I went to Bimbo Deluxe (to have a beer with Haste) I noticed there are (fake?) cameras in the males toilet.. *HOW WRONG*

It's a week before my 31st b/day so I might come down to share a few beers with Haste, Raz, Moebro + spgeddi.. Too far away to make plans though

I also live in Caulfield which is a btich to get to Fitzroy for a big drinking day but oh well, I have plenty of parties at my place :)
