melbourne - gods kitchen - 2nd october - melbourne park - REVIEWS START PAGE 9

^^^ yer it definetely was GK. Remember rocking up really excited bout my first rave and thinking wtf is gonna on all these families and bogans go to raves!!!

im pretty pissed off also bout BK and Eddie Halliwell being in the main room and dunno how the fuck the times r gonna work in there!! strangis warms up J00F. BK & Eddie Halliwell playing UK hard. Jason Midro playing whatever the fuck he wants probably the close even tho it should go to JOOF and then Mark James, what does he even play?! Ppl staying in the main room r gonna get confused i think!! on a side note thats fukn awesome bout Strangis getting another go in main room (only took a year!!!)

i also wanna voice concerns about them using vodafone arena, at 2T this year that was a joke. im suprised no one was really badly hurt walking up and down those stairs. I think if future want to oversell tickets like they will, at least show us some courtesy so it doesnt 30 minutes to get on the floor then 20 more for room to dance meaning u miss the set u wanted 2 c!. Rod Laver is fine cos its easy to get in and out of but getter better security who tell u there is no room on the floor when it is only half full!!!

On a positive note i just saw a picture of Anne Savage ;) ....ok i knew she played kick arse music but she is extremely hot!! However they shoulda put kelsta on the lineup instead of ajax to warm her up then match set times so i can catch BK and Eddie Halliwell afta!
 
I remember my first rave, which was GK last year!
Was so funny n scary to see all those families. My first thought was what the fuck are families coming to a rave for hahaha didn't realise that there was dirt bikes at Vodaphone(sp).
Neway didn't have that good a time at GK last year so i'm hoping this year will be a lot better.

hmmm...that is pretty sucky about the bikes being on at the same time! ud think they would hav been able to book the bikes on a friday or sunday nite!

if all the GK ppl thought wow...look at all these familis and bogans coming to a rave...imagine wat the families thought when they saw all the candies out with their phatties and smilies and colours and glowsticks !!!!!

hehe....all the mothers of the families would hav been shielding their kids...closely followed by..."we're never coming to one of these events ever again...and u can forget about getting the motorbike u wanted for xmas too!"

actually makes me think...wat excuse would i give...being there is obvious...just out havin a good time! hmmm...ohh...my mate used this on his g/f the other week! i was staring at the lasers heaps and i think it got to my eyes, thats why they look a lil funny! lol....i neva thought that excuse would work but it did! poor girl must be so gullable

at that stage i think i actually had a fairly large green mohawk, too, and you should have seen the abuse i copped on the way in from all the random bogan fuckwits - apparently a 6'6" guy with massive phats and a mohawk looks a little scary to stupid people :)

i should probably stop posting in this thread now, since i'm not going and all.

i'm sure you'll have fun though - gods' is generally still a better event than two tribes, imo.

I agree.

At GK I know I am going to meet less 'hardware' techno chin strokers. Always makes for a better night, IMO.
 
Re: Dirt Bikes in RL Arena.....yep same as last year, so that means RL is out....but Vodafone could still be counted in....I know KryleKastleE mentioned they would use the Annex area for the main GK room like last year, but it still needs to be remembered that aswell as the main GK Arena there is Renaissance and Defected in the House as larger rooms, then FutureBreaks, Kandy v Bass Station, Young Guns and VIP....now, if they DON'T use Vodafone, where are they all gonna go?? Here is my opinion on how it will/should be broken up:

GodsKitchen Main Arena: VodaFone
Defected in The House: Annex
Renaissance: Part of Function Room (ie. River room etc)
FutureBreaks: Part of Function Room
Young Guns: Part of Function Room
Bass Station v Kandy: Upstairs Vodafone
GK VIP: That bar next to the Function Rooms where the smile police/young guns room was @ Two Tribes.

Unsure about where the bass/kandy room would go actually, cause there is sure to be a huge turn out for that as well...
 
hmmm.. stay on topic hey???

one day i was walking along a road when i found a little dog sitting there. he wasnt wearing a lead, so i thought i'd pick him up and take him home, cause i was without a pet at the time. so whilst i was taking him home, i thought i'd stop in at the supermarket and buy him some food.

i thought he would really appreciate lamb and vegetable chum, but they were all out of that type, so i had to settle for the more expensive brand that has salmon in it. i wish that i could have read my new dogs mind, because when i got it home, he didnt want to eat the food with salmon. he must be allergic to it or something. so i named him john west.

i went for a walk to my local servo to try and get some more food for john west. i didnt have a lead for him, so i unhooked my telephone from the wall and used the cable that connects the handset to the base.

it looked rather funny, me walking john west by a telephone cord. when we got to the servo, we found that they were out of dog food. i saw that they sold hot dogs, but i didnt want to turn john west into a cannibal, so i had to settle for getting him a mars bar.

unfortunately, i didnt know that john west was a diabetic, and as soon as he ate the mars bar, he lapsed into a hypoglcemic (hope i spelt that right..) coma... this really freaked out the guy behind the counter, and he ran around to look at what was going on. i felt so bad, there was poor little john west twitching on the floor, starting to froth at the mouth. so i started performing doggy CPR on him... two breaths in, 10 compressions on the chest. this was a silly idea as he was still acutally alive. unfortunately my actions killed john west.

whilst the service station attendant was trying to find a way to dispose of john wests body, i jumped the counter and stole a packet of cigarettes. i walked off, enjoying a smoke and thought to myself... "hmmm... i should really go to god's kitchen at melbourne park..."
