Not a worry, Zephyr. :) Perhaps we can do something in the afternoon --- I did have vague beer brewery plans with a friend?

You have a friend?! :D

i am going to work on maybe getting out on my Sunday morning commitment.
If successful I'll be getting public in and hitckhiking home in an intoxicated and impressionable manner- it almost always caps off the nite quite nicely.

Course last bits not true
Anyways -oh I just had a grand idea!
If a party is leaving form COTBs maybe I could get dropped off there n join you all? What time would be good for that?
hmm
I'll ring COTB later depending on what will happen.....

Plain old Pubs are cool....

I might not be rocking up after.. I'm deciding between two acts playing tonight.. Mammal @ East Brunswick Club.. or True Live @ Fed Square ... But there not on til 11pm

I'm leaning towards fed square.. *hint hint*

Anyone, soon as you decide were your going, let me know.. so I can be in the city by the time you guys finish your eating, if I end up deciding on True Live..

Don't forget my place [Glenferrie / Auburn station] should be en route for you and whoever is joining you, SLM. =D
I'm sure NickyJ and myself [and anyone else who happens to be present at the time] would be more than happy to be a temporary re-fuelling station for travellers. ;):)
Oooh, I just saw this. I live in Hawthorn East so that's only a few blocks away. Can I tag along and go into the city with you guys? PM me the details. Thanks. :)

^Ook, sorted and ready to go-go-gadget.
Although the troops are conspicuously lacking.... time to do the 'where are you' calls. :|

See you cats in a bit. Mm, sake is calling my naaaaaaaame. =D

Hello kids!

I just wanted to say, thanks for a really fun dinner and drinks. I was nice to see some of you again and the rest it was good to meet you for the first time!

It would be good to catch up again soon and grab a bevvy or three.

In the meantime, I hope you all had as great a night as I did.

Take care, yours,

C.

^ how'd you find Bubble??
nice to meet u btw
n same goes for all the other new pple I met :) (ur mates, college_dropout, slm + Dale..)

another successful good fun nite. Spewin' I had to leave early.
Hope you all got suitably messy! Did you all keep rokin at Lounge?
Getting up at 6am was a bit hard. Was a beautiful morning to be ocean swimming tho n I managed to get third (but no prize for such :\)

Looking forward to the next MFS shin-dig!

(n for the record I am not "odd" and "uncultured" as one particular asshole interstate BLer suggested :p:p:D)

^Was awesome meeting u gabz, you're a top chick :) It was a shame you left so early but hopefully I can muster the cash and effort to get myself to Pharmacy and we can catch up then.

You folks should have posted where you were going for post-drinks.
I was near city ways, but figured my night would be more productive if I went home and brutally masturbated.
I also didn't know where you went until about 11pm or something. That may be a more accurate reason.

Nah I'm in love with Dale. He's so hot right now. :p ;)

Hahaha, that's cool. I'll fetch you two drinks while you make out =D

Oh my god what an interesting night! Great food, fantastic company... really enjoyed meeting some new people and getting to know other friends better. I tried sake for the first time, and watched the pile of food Gabz wouldn't eat, mount higher and higher on her plate ;)

And, yes, I went to a 'nightclub' of sorts, and quite enjoyed it. :) Things went pear shaped after we left the Lounge, but in a comical and memorable manner....

For hours. And hours (or so it seemed) Raz, Dale, androoo and I traipsed the streets of Melbourne, me with shoes in hand, trying desperately to hail a cab (could we have picked a WORSE night in Melbourne apart from NYE??). We stumbled into some irish pub at some point, and talked to lots of people in green hats.. After no success whatsover getting home we tried Flinders street. Found the end of the Flinders station cab line but calculated it would probably take 4 hours to reach the front.

Eventually we just gave up and went back to androo's backpackers' hostel to sit in the hallway and drink like the derros we are - Fosters for the boys and cask wine out of a coffee mug for me :D.

We eventually got back to the station to catch the first Glen Waverley train home at 5.14am. But did our worries end there? nooooooooo. It broke down at Burnley. Thus ensued a struggle between us, some stoned dudes and a very hyperactive Irishman for possession of the sole cab that pulled up outside the station. We won: 'Dude! go go go!!!". He didn't have the luck of the irish that night :D

Hilarious comedy of errors. But perhaps we werer blessed, because our transport misfortune certainly afforded lots of adventures :D

thanks for an awesome night guys <3

Thanks so much everyone for such a good dinner, i was a little pissed that i couldnt stay the night to go out afterwards with you guys, but we had to make our way all the way back out to mooroolbark for my best friends birthday, which sounds quite boring in comparision to the night you guys sound like you had!!
I had such a good dinner, thumbs up for whoevers choice teppenyaki was, ive never had it beofre, but it was abolutely awesome, i loved it!! Especially the little sushi rolls and the dumplings >>> yum!

Trying to get home from the races on Derby Day was pretty horrific!

found it by asking lots of people.. and found it to be a rather cool place to go when you really can't sleep at 5am on a sunday morning =D

comedy of errors is a lovely way of putting it ;)

college dropout - can i have him after you?? =D

The meetup that was!!! What a huge success. I think that's got to be a record, both for dinner attendance and the percentage of kicker-on-erers. =D

Apart from things starting a little slow [ie: Nickj and myself wandering around my house in various states of undress getting ready and drinking a mixture of beer + red bull {winning combination} wondering where the hell the 4 people were who said they'd meet me at my place?!?!] it really turned out to be a winning night. :)

Sorry to all for our tardiness. I blame a combination of people not showing [:o<-- yes, that's a dick sucking icon] and Melbourne's appalling public transport system with its delays and the freaking loop shmoop.

I'd already been to the exact place before, so I knew exactly what to expect menu-wise, and I have to say it was just as tasty and enjoyable to watch the chef's strut their stuff. :)
I still can't believe muzby managed to convince me to eat another prawn head. And again, he didn't have to say anything. Except tell me to eat it. And it was still gross. :|

Fantastic to meet everyone!!! Lounge was wicked fun, my work colleagues who rocked up wanted you all to know you're champions and apologised for the guy who fell asleep on our table. ;)

Love you all, lets do it again soon m0f0's --- and see if we can get this sort of a turn-out with no inter-staters this time? =D
