(Melb) Two Tribes 2006 - Sat 25th FEB REVIEWS (Melbourne Park)

Yeah bluelight meetup for sure.....but when set times come out it'll be easier. Also it might be difficult like last year cause i think people will be rushing in for Armin so it'll have to be around an hour before him i think (ie maybe 10pm at a guess)...

And GK is a bad place for a meetup me thinks....far too many people. Previous years have been successful @ RL Arena just outside doors or just inside....

Anyone know if future has taken their (fuck)heads out of their asses and invited RaveSafe?

^^ Yeah me too I'm planning to stick to the Vodafone (Godskitchen) arena at least early on as I don't wanna be stressin about maybe gettin locked out for Armin's set. I vote to have a meetup inside too. Not too sure about outside the bathrooms... At least at Sydney raves I'd feel a bit uncomfortable hanging right outside the bathroom waiting for people coz it can be a typical sketchy spot for dealers, people tryin to score and cops trying to move them on or bust them. It does seem heaps more chilled out at Melbourne raves though so maybe it's okay?!? Meh.. I'll go with whatever you guys recon...
 
lol. don't worry. I was joking about the toilets. But actually, I think the toilets are just a door off the massive corridor that goes around the building. Or is that rod laver? I can't remember now.

Does anyone know where they close it up from, the outside glass doors, or the internal doors?
 
well i did get my shift so i am working at this event.... but bloody hell, of all outlets im stuck at burger bar in the rod laver concourse :( not happy!

oh well at least i can actually have a decent chat with ppl and since it is likely to be dead quiet there is a bigger chance i can knock off early and party hard the end of the night...

or maybe when i rock up i'll see if any1 wants to swap outlets

i think its the internal doors .... so you can't get in for love or money and once you leave you aint got a chance in hell of getting back in

i think it would be easier finding a needle in a haystack than finding set times --- the super search powers of google and me combined couldn't find any bleh

I've only been to GK at melbourne park and that was pretty crowded. I think even if we all agree on a place to meet we're not shure what we all look like (at least i don't) and it'll be pretty busy. Also i'm not going to be watching my watch to meet up.
I rekon a better idea would be to do, or wear something that identifies us as bluelighters. That way we can say hi and have a boogie whenever we see someone.

Do you think the dogs will go beyond the entrance gates?
 
I really doubt the dogs will go beyond the gate. Promoters aren't keen to have the dogs inside as it makes the punters nervous and isn't realy a good vibe. So it's not in their intrest to have the dogs inside.

On the other hand the police seem to do what they want in those regards.

And i was thinking of something a little more subtle that the plod hat (see Above).
 
set times??? haha they really are leaving it to the last minute aren't they...how do u guys know that they were going to be released tonite? did u email future?

btw: did anyone see tonite's weather report, wats it looking like for saturday/sunday?

Set times????? im getting antzy, keep on looking on future site to see if there up but nooo, i wonder why their leaving it so late
 
^^^^ i hope so (i dont suppose they said what time tonite?), and storms would be bad cause that means all those people who like to stay outside will come inside and that means more people in rooms/arenas which will mean lock outs...which is shit...fingers cross that there isn't a lot of rain
