(Melb) Two Tribes 2006 - Sat 25th FEB REVIEWS (Melbourne Park)

hey all got my ticket the other day all lookin good for this. doin the mission from the country for this one! was just reading in the social forum there is talk of a final major crackdown on drug users/suppliers with plenty of police n dog presence as a clean up before commenwealth games. should expect more trouble gettin in this year rather then last?
 
I rekon there will be a fair cop presents... there always is at theose things and being the games coming up... but i wouldn't stress. A guy i know (a friends neighoubors dog or whatever) got sniffed up by a dog when entering GK last year and the dog didn't even wag it's tail. (Post edited. No need to disclose what he had in his wallet. Thanx)

i think they only realy smell weed and then find other shit on ya,

oh and tribes looks sweet... got my ticket when they first came out. i missed it last year and heard all about it from my mates.

Yeah they always say it will be a big police prescence but it is pretty random and selective. Last year was supposed to be the biggest crackdown aswell and i didn't have my pockets checked, wasn't patted down and didn't even show my ID....

Lucky, i was packin a 9mil ;)

PS: Last years TT was the shit.....note to self (and others) however: Acid + Prodigy = Trouble :\
 
typically they say " Organisers issue sniffer dog warning for rave event" - suprised they haven't as of yet.

And yeah of course they will.

Because the games are comming up one would expect a bigger police presence and also a bigger snigger dog appearance aswell. If you do a search on the net you should come across some reading information about sniffer dogs and what they can detect.

You have to remember aswell, if you take drugs/ break the law and get caught you have no one to blame but yourself. The Police and sniffer dogs and other emergency services people are there to help and protect the public if things go wrong and prevent things from going wrong. So im sure a few dogs around the place wont hurt anyone.
 
go in there carrying just your own small stash, then i wouldn't imagine that ud have much trouble....there is a thread discussing this going around somewhere on here...the last couple of 2tribes when these dogs have been around i havnt seen them, plus if you rock up at say 11 o'clock and just make a V-Line for the massive line to get in and stick yourself right in the middle of it, i doubt that you'll have any problem

The only problem you will have with sniffer dogs is if you leave the venue, and try and come back in with a passout.. those are the people that police target, for the obvious reasons.

iv spoken with future and they have said there are no set times out yet, they will be released 7 days befor the event...
 
^^^ i remember lsat time they released them a little earlier to people who had subscribed to their mailing list, go them on my mobile fone, i signed back up to that mailing list so if anything comes thru ill post it up

Only a few days before I visit Melboure for a whole long weekend of partyin. :) Hasn't fully sunken in yet but I'm sure It'll hit me when I'm surrounded by lasers and thousands of party people while listenin to Armin and Kai Tracid... Nice... Thinkin about the place ride down.. sweet I love feelin I get flying.

Heya.. would any of you guys n gals still be up for a BlueLight meetup? If so can one of you guys (from Melbourne) organise the time and place (once the set times are up)? I kinda know Melboure Park from when I visited for GodsKitchen but I don't know everywere.

Cool... hopfully not too early in the night so a little bita time to chill out n see everything once we all get into the venue...
