VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

The situation is anyone wanting to volunteer needs to purchase their tickets before the event. Then contact brett to get a shift. First in best shift. Ticket will be totally refunded at completion of entire shift.

We need volunteers for the following:


COUCH TRANSPORTATION
This is the easist way to get a ticket
Anyone with a car and tow ball who can get a trailer and who can get 4 preferably 5 couches per trailer to site at the latest by lunchtime friday 24/11/06 will get 1 free ticket. Couches just need to be dropped off on site and be in a reasonable condition. There is no need to take them back to melb. Get couches from hard rubbish. They are all over melbourne at the moment.
At least 6 x trailers w 5 couches each are needed.

FRONT GATE 10hr shift or 2 x 5hrshifts


(hand out show bags or collect ticket and give person wrist band.)

PARKING 10hr shift or 2 x 5hr shifts

(Sit at main check point and direct cars left or right into parking areas.)

RUBBISH COLLECTION 8hr shift or 2 x 4hr shifts

(collection of rubbish into wheelie bins and dumped in large bins.)
Everything need to collect rubbish is supplied eg: gloves , bags ,
tongs , bins etc.

1st shift starts 9am for 4 hrs then another shift or 8 hrs straight

2nd shift starts 1pm for 4 hrs then another shift or 8 hrs straight

one shift only starts 2 pm for 4 hrs or 8 hrs straight
Monday 27/11/06 one shift only starts 10 am for 4 hrs or 8 hrs straight

INFORMATION BOOTH 10 hr shifts

So, about this whole "everyone camps in the middle" business.. personally i like being in the inner city at earthcore and a trip to the burbs is just part of the adventure. Is Spirofest going mad or is it just to try to scare people into compliance and not enforced as seems to be their way of doing things in general?
