Good question... Ive emailed Ticketek, they should fix that asap. Alternatively give them a call and book tickets over the phone.

I thought $45 is pretty good for this lineup. I mean, NRG7 was $44 with not one international, so for an extra dollar you can check out Marco V, Scot Project, Kan Cold and The Geezer. SOunds like a pretty good deal to me (Especially when Gods Kitchen and last years WOTW are over $70 and $75 respectively for comparable lineups). :\
 
Yeah but hard nrg trance sucks ass, and don't even mention acid techno. So basically I would be paying $50 to see a bunch of locals that I could catch at Factory.

Oh and I didn't pay for my ticket to NRG, and I still consider it a waste of money!

Anyway that's enough of my jaded ramble.

anyway, $50 is a lot for me too...so i'll try to scab a free ticket or might not be able to attend again :(

and how much are tix gonna be after early birds finish? seen as ticketek still hasn't fixed the delivery options on their webpage 8)
 
Thats a shame Muzby, I think its fair to say that the issues that plagued Altona last year have long since been rectified. The four parties held there this year (NRG7, MTM and 2 GODs) have all had great thumping sound, undisturbed by cut outs.

All meters at the venue have been re-calibrated (so now they are working properly) and the meter on the soccer pitch has been moved from its original position and now sits on the opposite side. This allows a true reading of sound ONLY on the soccer pitch (unlike its original position which suffered from sound bleed from the cricket courts causing it to trip very easily).

If you won't take my word for it, someone on another website had this to say about the sound @ Altona:
"all I gotta say is if Altona is rigged up just like the Bass Clef Party that featured The Advent you are in for an awesome party! The sound there, was unbelievable and there was not one cut out whatsoever. Throbbing, pounding big rig system is what you'd need to catch Marco V on."

i think he's refering to distance to travel and lots of D!<K#E@DS being there, and i heard something bout a 2000 person limit on the venue set by the council for nrg7

well my ticket is all set and done
oh i got some room in the car if any1 wants/needs a ride from northern suburbs (western side ones) im a safe driver too ;)

I haven't gotten stupidly excited about this one, which is good, coz my expectations aren't too high and can't be matched.

But it IS Scott Project... Should be good to see it at a new venue, see how it pans out.

Sllip: I will NEVER join your army of darkness. I think I'll go listen to some hard trance and NRG to cleanse myself :)
 
Just letting everyone know that earlybird tickets have almost sold out... There are only about 95 left through Ticketek, so you'll want to be quick as they'll most likely only last the rest of the week...
