[Megathread] Coming down off stimulants : recommendations

5-htp , melotinin , st John wart is aln alternative to benzos fir insomnia .

I hve a feeling it won't work that great though

So ur best bet is benZos .

+ why is ur mdpv lasting so long !?!?! I take a med dose at 4pm I would have comedown by 9pm lol

You can try some Lyrica or SOMA, a full stomach it's really an excellent recommendation. Valerian would help too, I would not go the Alcohol go way.
Before going to sleep, shut down your place so there is no noice, and read a book that you might find interesting. After a while (it can even take an hour) you should feel at last sleepy; close your book and go to bed while your stomach and part of your brain works on the digestion system, and the Lyrica/SOMA/Valerian works.
If that doesn't work, I suggest benzos. If even that does not work, benzos and opiates.

Try your best to eat HEALTHY foods BEFORE you come down... make sure you are very well hydrated. Other then that, relax, watch a funny movie or something, and use whatever X sedative works for you.

I sleep 4 or 5 hours a night, but I'm a heavy daily user and it's been months since a day went by that I haven't done any... So I don't think I ever really come down...

Used to know a guy like that. Did several grams of pure Methamphetamine HCl every week.

Apparently he claimed it made him better at his job. Manager. Allegedly used to do it everyday in his office.

No that wasn't me. Made me too paranoid to do it everyday. :!

I guess it could, depends on kind of job, I don't get paranoid, I eat but still it's hard to maintain weight. After awhile it's not so much of a high as it is a relief. Shit out here is real good, I mean really good and it's weird when you know it & still don't get high!

Generally, forcing myself to eat a reasonable meal (whether I want to or not) and having a glass of orange juice, followed by laying down with my eyes closed and clearing my mind helps to get me feeling a little bit less out.

I am not a stimulant user (besides caffeine) and have not been for quite a while, though I do tend to suffer from insomnia which is partially related to chronic pain, and one thing that generally seems helps me with sleep under any circumstances is to avoid being on the computer/watching TV/doing anything too stimulating of that sort for 20-30 minutes before attempting to go to bed. Once I'm actually in bed, I try to avoid rolling over or moving around consciously, and to avoid thinking of anything too stressful, the idea being that the closer I can get my brain to "autopilot" mode, the closer I can get myself to sleep. I'm not sure if any of this does much good, but it generally seems to work pretty well for me.

Speaking of insomnia, please excuse me if this post is slightly incomprehensible, I really haven't been getting enough sleep lately...
