[Mega] Tryptophan and Dark Chocolate , 'e-diet'

Quick question - i guess it is somewhere here but this thread has already 14 pages... I dont like dark chocolate - would drinking cacao with milk work similar way? cheers.

Ya but don't just use any chocolate... Look for one that has a lot of iron in it. I believe iron is directly related to the alkaloid content.

Personally I it & stevia erythritol blend for sweetner.

Im always wondering why all other sweeteners arent just replaced with Stevia. It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.

Much less Bad for you than the likes of say, Aspartame. I wish that Stevia sweetened chewing gum was available in UK.
The Added neurotoxicity with aspartame is unavoidable, as i need to chew while im on mdma!

I've heard aspartame is bad for you; it does add neurotoxicity. i also believe it triggers headaches in me.

The worst sweetner though has to be sucralose, AKA Splenda.

Chlorinated sugar that eats up the good bacteria in your colon, and 15+% is absorbed never to come out!
 
Im weird about sweeteners... sugar or npthing... i consider a diet soda undrinkable.. even of im really thirsty lol
lol I bet if I made you a chocolate milk with a little stevia blend (not straight stevia of course) mixed with some real cane sugar, you wouldn't know.

I like to use agave nectar though before working out. For the extra carbs :)

Brief search reveals that chocolate releases serotonin. Might have a deeper look for some proper research
So do carbs :) Good reason to eat sweet chocolate.

To those who havent had any succes with pure cacao It may be the adding of dairy products:

researchers are studying dark chocolate's potential to help strengthen the immune system by increasing the amount of serotonin in the gut. Diana Walcutt, Ph.D., of Psych Central, offers an important note: drinking milk with dark chocolate negates the health benefits of the chocolate, so avoid combining the two.

PS. It can also be a gut related problem or have to do with stomach acidity. So try to eat foods that help with this like bananas, apples, lemonjuice and complex carbs.

AND avoid all heavy meals containing fats. Even low fat meals increase acidity when you overeat

....Interesting i never knew that, and i always wondered it.
I tend to enjoy dark chocolate with green tea though, but i do put some milk in that.
 
Raw dark chocolate is full of phytates that can bind up minerals, including heavy metals. Maybe the phytates bind up mineral-based fillers in E pills, but I can't see too much about how it might potentiate pure mdma.
 
I've actually been doing a lot of research between the effects of secondary proteins like alpha-lactoglobulin (present in milk) and the polyphenols in tea and chocolate. The research out there is really conflicting. It appears that milk is actually a good preserver/carrier for tea catechins(such as EGCG), but not a good one for chocolate antioxidants. However, some studies show that in the stomach milk does not interfere with chocolate polyphenols....

Thats the problem with 'TextBook' and 'Online Knowledge' aspects of science and neurochemistry. Conflicting verdicts and contradictions.

Leaves us all a little bit puzzled hehe

I've been surfin these forums and finally decided to register.
I started usin mdma back in 2008 when I really started getting into electronic music (first time was at Armin's Halloween show). After getting hooked to the chemical and 4/4 beats, I started going to shows once or twice a month (PvD, Corsten, cosmic, ronski, patterson, tyas, list goes ON). At the shows, I'd eat 2-3 pills which is horriBAD but I was just wanting to be up there. I started to slowly get away from that scene late 2010 because of money and pretty much stopped. What I have noticed was those last few shows, the molly brought in the euphoria but not the energy (took a 5-hour energy before the shows and drank some red bull throughout the night). From that point on, I always thought I've damaged my body from using it so much. I've been reading the forums and I decided to give mdma another go. It's been over a year since my last use. On the way back home from work, I bought 200g if Lindt 70% dark chocolate. I will eat 25g a day up until Thursday next week. Next Saturday, I'm heading to a stacked festival on the east coast ;). I'm buying a gram and only bringing 125mg and 60 mg dose (saving the for another festival near the end of summer). I will let you guys know how everything goes! If this works out for me...my GOD (or my Gregory)...I want to hug every single one of you.
