[Mega] Rolling the Movie

I added them too MySpace. It looks like it might be a good movie. I just wish they had done real interviews,with real "rollers" and interspliced them into the movie. That would have been more interesting IMHO.
 
The trailers make me wanna see it sooo bad.. the one where the chicks roll for the first time and almost make out is hysterical.
 
Does anybody know if this movie are going to be released on dvd or something?
I live in Norway, and I guess they're not putting it up on the screen here...

You should watch Human Traffic. It's all about a group of young people in the UK workin durin the week and just goin and gettin mashed on the weekends, it's a lot of fun, and takes the piss out of the view on ecstasy held by older generations and those who haven't done it.

you know what i watched human traffic, and i absolutely hated it. it's so stereotypical and it made me ashamed to be associated with ecstasy or be labeled an ecstasy user by they way they are portrayed. fuckin little raver e-tarded kids.....

it just brings negative attention to the drug, like what delta9 said.

I totally disagree. We need more media attention to the positive aspects of the drug, and less of the negative propaganda against it. And I highly doubt that Human Traffic and Rolling were high profile enough to cause a gigantic super-backlash against the drug (not that there isn't a backlash already).

Actually, I would say a movie like Human Traffic highlighted the beneficial aspects of the drug, and had several moments designed specifically to dispel the rumors and myths about ecstasy. The more ecstasy is intertwined with pop culture in a positive way, the closer society will be to accepting it as something that can be fun once in a while if used safely. We're basically already at that point with marijuana -- look how many movies are made specifically for stoners!

I can't speak for Rolling because I haven't seen it. But Human Traffic definitely did no harm to the culture of ecstasy and raves. Like I said, not only was it not an incredibly popular film (it should have been), but it showed ecstasy in a way that pop culture usually overlooks (usually it's all complete and utter propaganda -- i.e. Bad Boys 2).
 
I hear about Rolling The movie, i was actually on the website the other day looking at the trailers. But i have no idea if it has been release or where it's being released.
By the way, those two girls rolling in their room for the first time, it's pretty ridiculous. "Uhhh i feel drunk" . Ok, rolling is a pretty different feeling that being drunk. And then they go eat dinner with the parents while they r rolling and they start saying shit like "i love u guys" to the parents, that is so stupid, who does that?
What i thought it was awesome was that guy laying in bed next to the gf talking nonsense and then he is like "huh, what?" hahahaha...reminded me of those days i rolled so hard that i would be thinking some nonsense and then realize i had been saying what i was thinking out loud...uhhh i miss those clean strong pills
 
BTW, what's the name of the song in the "lesbian" clip: the lyrics go roughly something like:
