[MEGA]Idiosyncratic/Unusual Responses to Cannabis

There are very few drugs that have an interaction with marijuana that I have found. Combining it with Haldol seems to make it cause more excess saliva (common side effect of haldol) and it seemed to affect my cognitive motor functions, in a way different than if you took them separately. One time I was on 20mg of haldol 3 times a day...yuck, I don't take it any more though.

i eventually went to sleep on my side and that was fine, but damn that muscle relaxness felt good until i realized there might be an imaginary ghoul on top of me soon

Me personally, I think shrooms might be one of the hardest to handle, that and salvia, major mindfucks...
For me, I got naked and ran around like a wildman naked playing with my dick, I got fucked by the shrooms I tell ya.
Shrooms are straight retarded.... if you don't know what your getting into.

Do it yourself or disregard what I say, I could care less, as it doesn't affect me at all.
I had already disregarded what you said in the first instance, but this thread is read by many other people, some of whom might have bought into the story. This formed a great case study in critical thinking.
The man who cured his prostate cancer did so with daily intake of hemp oil and a change in diet involving hemp seed. He was Canadian. That might help you find a suitable source.
I really hope you're talking about Rick Simpson, because if you are I will tear that wishy-washy claptrap to shreds. He's not using what the rest of the world calls "hemp oil" (oil pressed from the seeds of non-drug, monoecious cannabis strains), he's using what the rest of the world calls "hash oil" (a highly potent psychoactive extract of drug material), and he has some very bold and (in my view) inexcusable claims:
From my experience all forms of disease and conditions are treatable and often curable with the use of high grade hemp oil as a treatment.
If you are looking for a safe medication, look no further than what the hemp plant can provide. On top of all that it’s a medicine we can all grow and produce ourselves. Also there is no need for a doctor’s supervision with its use.
Judging from what I have seen, if children were given tiny doses of oil each day like a supplement, diseases like cancer diabetes MS and many other conditions could be eliminated entirely.
I could go on. Honestly, that is exactly the kind of dangerous pseudoscientific bullshit that puts the most vulnerable at further risk and undermines the activity of reasonable, sensible advocates of medical cannabis.

Jib, I am aware that THC has been shown to have some anti-tumour properties, but we both know that it's a colossal jump from that fact to the claim that weed cures cancer, right? And if you do find this supposed Harvard study, please don't hesitate to post it up, I would be thrilled to read it.

I've found that vaporizing hash oil and bubble hash produces far less anxiety and is much more sedating than smoking or vaporizing buds, and it also makes smoking bud more tolerable as it increases one's tolerance pretty quickly. I don't have a scientific explanation for why this is the case, and it strikes me as very counter-intuitive, but it is a consistent result in my case. I've switched to around 90% hash about 2 months ago and haven't looked back.

Puffy nipples/weed

Hey guys so I have kind of a weird question. I'm 15 and have had very mild gynecomastia (puffy nipples) for like 3 years now. They're really not even noticeable to anyone but me. It seems as though every time I smoke they get -slightly- enflamed for like 1-4 days. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else or anyone knows anything about it. Another thing, if I worked out daily would that reduce the puffyness of my nips? Thanks

no problem ..check out the guidelines and the directories stickied at the top of the forum page..

Bad trip on weed

The first and second time I've ever smoked, I had a bad trip. I did a search and I couldn't find anything similar. I wouldn't necessarily say it's an anxiety attack, but it felt like a byproduct. What happened was that I felt like I was stuck in a time tunnel. The same few seconds kept repeating over and over to me, like some kind of stutter. I felt like I was in hell. I knew what was happening was because of the weed so I kept telling myself not to panic.

I'm pretty sure it was because I smoked too much but can anyone else tell me what had happened?

Have you ever considered a small dosage of nolvadex?

Gyno is not puffy nipples, but rather a mass in the breast tissue right underneath the nipple. Don't confuse sensitive skin and gyno.

I definitely can feel some sort of tissue, however it is VERY minuscule. Maybe about the size of a pea or two under each nipple.

Gyno is caused my a hormonal imbalance related to estrogen. Talk to your doc about temporarily going on an estrogen inhibitor to get your endocrine system back on track. Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) is the best med for this. I have personally had success.

Myoclonus/ Myoclonic twitch?

I've been noticing recently when I smoke some bud, I have a constant involuntary twitch in my foot. Is it weed affecting something or could it be a sign of something neurological?

It might be psychosomatic. I sometimes get twitches when im anxious for example, so while you may not be feeling bad/anxious or whatever, weed is pretty well known for paranoia so your twitches may be another way its manifesting itself. I dunno if this made much sense since im pretty high right now.

Have you tried using a benzo to see if it helps?

I doubt it is anything neurological if it only happens when you smoke weed. Of course, if you are concerned, see a doctor.

Benzos might help but you don't want to accidentally pick up a benzo addiction by usinfg them every time you smoke..

As this is about cannabis I am moving it to the Cannabis Discussion forum.
