[MEGA] Home-made/repaired pipes, bongs and vapes.

shop pieces vs home made?

so post pics of ur pieces weather it be bought at a store or home made. and please tell us what are ur thoughts. what are better home made or store bough pieces? (obviously im talking about bowls bongs steamrollers shit like that) lol :) ill go first this is my bowl ill post a pic of my bubbler later :)

But imagine a water bottle with tin foil in the top part you drink out of, and a hole stabbed in the side with a straw coming out. You hardly lose any smoke with this and it takes 10 seconds to make and cops won't check your water bottle for THC residue...

I've made the same thing, but using a pen instead of a straw. I would use the pen to make the hole in the foul, and then take out the middle of the pen to stick it into the side of the water bottle after applying to heat to the spot that the pen was going.

And for my "bowl," picture a 24oz beer can (whatever kind I have got at the time) slighly scrunched in the middle, with a couple of tiny pin holes there.

Obviously I don't smoke much anymore.

my friend used to smoke weed out of a meth pipe all the time. It vapes just like a regular vape, you can get such huge hits off it and the weed looks the same as after its been vaped in a real vape.
 
Ive found a really good way is to put your shake on a pan on medium heat, covered by a clear drinking glass. As vapors start to appear, wait for a decent hit to grow inside of the glass, the suck it out from the bottom with a straw, rinse and repeat. It's not as easy to burn the herb as you'd think.
 
I think you'd find a lightbulb vaporizer better to use, just make sure to clean it thoroughly.

Or, a lot of headshops sell meth pipes for under 10 bucks that work fine for weed, they just can't hold a ton of it and you have to inhale lightly to keep from inhaling little pieces of bud. Works quite well though.

A lightbulb vape is probably the best weed vaporizer that you can make easily and cheaply.
 
Stonedcold, yea! You know what's weird is I'd just been sitting on my bed and was about to write a new post about a similar idea.

What I thought of was putting a pan on with the weed then having a metal kitchen funnel then put it over the material then put some plastic tube over the thin end of the funnel and suck out. This would be the same sort of design of an electric I saw on youtube.

Your one sounds easier to construct as I don't have a funnel or tubing that I could think of off hand although I'd be worrying about cracking glasses.

Someone said it won't crack since people use glasses for pipes and it doesn't

So what sort of temps would the glass crack from heat alone?

I have been disappointed by my oral attempts today which have produced only mild but distinct, long lasting 'doziness' rather than the decent high I got from the tinfoil method the other day so I wanna give vaping another go but with better apparatus.

Now I write actually it's built quite alot and I feel medium toasted but it's taken like 4 hours! That won't be acceptable regular cos I want to smoke a few hours before bed and have it worn off by the time I hit the hay to prevent the hangover.

unfortunently due to drunk related activitys wit a pool ball my pipe is shattered:( But imagen a pipe the size of your hand triple blown chemilion glass, not how you spell it but get off my dick, wit orange purple and green swirls goin threw it. Now imagen my face when it broke.....donations are welcome

Alas, I lost my beloved pipe collection to the pigs, and the one that miraculously survived got broken a couple nights ago. :(

I just got a lovely chameleon piece from the local shop, though, really different than anything I've had. I'll post a pic when I get home tonight. I was pretty fucking upset about losing all my glass, but I'm not facing charges, so it's time to rebuild my collection. %)

And as for the issue of homemade pieces vs shop pieces, I def prefer shop pieces - would be cool as fuck to learn to make glass bowls and shit, though.

it was 25$ and sorry HG but i cant tell u that...that IS sourcing. but i can tell u i most definitely did not buy this online. i would never buy a piece online. i like to hold shit look at it and examine it b4 buying it :)
 
MAN! What a bargain! I would pay more than that for a piece like that. A decent hand pipe is one of the things i'm lacking. I've got a small shoddy bubbler, and a trio of bongs, and a trio of glass 1-hitters, plus a few metal one-hitters I made on the lathe before I bought glass.

None of my pieces are worth photographing though. They're functional, but they're all imported from china and the like. No authentic art glass or anything.
 
what the fuck is Festies? lol. n Azo id like to see some of them. i love bongs but never owned one lol. yea it was my 2nd piece my first bowl was taken by a piggy >_>
