MEGA - Courses and Careers related to Drugs

Your correct the OP has never read the Prince but the OP has a basic knowledge of Nicolò Machiavelli.

The name I chose for bluelight is derived from Machiavelli but not from myself, but from the late Tupac Shakur himself.

Claiming he is the late Makaveli and hence faked his death like in the prince.

i'm basicly a pharmacy tech as it's just me and the owner(pharmacist) who work in the pharmacy and I pretty much handle most of the work when I'm there and she just sits around and from time to time takes calls from doctor's offices and fills out paperwork which I'm not able to but most of the things people actually think of a pharmacist job as doing a pharmacist technician usually does. This includes log keeping for control I drugs, making the order on what we need at the end of the day, filling prescriptions, refills... etc etc, overall, a pharmacist is an easy job when you look at the money they get. Also in a few years when pharmacists are able to diagnose and prescribe patients even more money will flow into the market... something i hope to grab ahold of when i become a pharmacist

Dude, I'm also a big Tupac fan, but he's dead.

Where's Lacey?

Speaking in third and first person? That makes sense. You said it is derived from Machiavelli but not from yourself? What exactly do you mean from that? How can you refer to Tupac as "late" if he faked his own death?

This thread doesn't even resemble a crayon drawing of a photocopy of a an old picture of an OD thread.
I envy those of you that have been around for a while. I haven't even been a member for a year yet and I see a significant decline in the quality of OD. Something has to be done, maybe banning newer members?

Really, it's nothing new. I think it comes with the territory here. I mean, this site is all about drug use. Therefore, it attracts a lot of people who are high as fuck, many of whom are likely dumb as rocks even when stone-cold sober. So, of course you're gonna get morons posting their "brilliant" questions and/or ideas while they're as high as a fucking kite. Without attempting to UTFSE first.

Maybe new members should be required to UTSE a certain number of times before being allowed to post, so they can learn how to use it, and find the answers to their elementary questions before starting the hundreth post asking how long they need to wait after getting high before they can take a suboxone. Maybe they should be required to read all of the "stickies" before getting posting privileges, too.

On another note - SWIM found a round, green pill that says 'OC' on one side and '80' on the other. Anybody know what it might possibly be?

I'm moving this to second opinion. Other drugs handles discussion of pharmaceuticals, but threads regarding working as a pharmacist don't belong here.

-> Second Opinion

closed due to there already being a duplicate post by the same person in this forum.

I can't speak for myself but the law stands: Medicinal chemists invent new drugs based on pharmacological research, and pharmacologists do new research with the newly created drugs...etc.

Which side would you prefer to be on?

yep basically what Jamshyd said, i'm just finishing my first year of science and will be doing a double major in medicinal chemistry and biochemistry next year. So far first year i have found is pretty easy, youll be suprised how much of the material you learn is the same as what u did in high school if u did biology and chemistry.

In my opinion its only gonna be hard if you dont put in the work/effort. If u enjoy studying it then it wont be a chore. A couple of first year subjects are boring as shit, but thats just something everyone has to get through.

Cant tell u much more as yet, but the major subjects are definately wayyy more interesting and u start to do cool shit in the labs. Plus the dipshits that just waste time and annoy the others that actually want to learn dont usually come back second year as they tend to fail, so its a better environment when everyone there has the same attitude.

if u wanna know anymore let me know.

awesome thanks heaps guys... I'll think about what yous said and get back to you...

lol

I would love that and grately appreciate it man :) cheers!!! maybe his email would be greate :)

I plan on going and getting Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Preprofessional and Paramedical Concentration, next year. Would this be medical chemistry?

Will a record keep me out of pharmacology?

I got a DUI my first year at college, and unfortunately it was not dropped. So there it stands on my record. Fortunately possession and paraphernalia were both dropped, but still I was considering looking into pharmacology major but I'm kind of concerned that as i try to get into graduate school and research programs and etc... a DUI could really be a deal breaker.

I'm just sort of wondering if I should begin looking elsewhere, because if it's going to be a situation where i here, 'it's possible, you'll just have to work that much harder!' then I'll probably pass, because I'm not looking for obstacles to overcome.

I'm new here, but it seems that there are a lot of educated people in these forums, so I'm hoping someone can offer some sort of wisdom. And if not, may this thread fade into obscurity....
