My kids are dumbasses

I'm not saying my dog is the smartest ever but just that she is super sweet <3

I freakin luv Crosby!!!!

My friend dropped off a 10 gallon tank, I've been thinking about using it for something besides fish. Any recommendations for what would be a good aquatic animal to place in it? Turtles? Frogs? Crabs? Shrimp?

ive kept crabs and turtles, id go with a turtle. they are cool pets and pretty easy to look after.

i used to know a guy that had these massive green tree frogs, they were pretty cool too

id say get a turtle if you definatly want an aquatic set up.. or maybe think about a bearded dragon =D

oh and looking good junglejuice, really nice! keeping a good reef set up is no easy task, as im sure you are well aware ;)

Ok my cat is BROKEN..... he is dumb as a box or rocks. He can't balance himself on anything that is less than 6 inches wide. When he falls, he never lands on his feet. When he eats his food he can't keep it in the bowl or in his mouth. He drools when you show him affection. He wakes me in the morning by eating my hair and to top all that craziness off he pees on the outside of the litterbox. Not like just any where in the house, but right next to the litterbox. I look at him in amazement every day and wonder how has he managed to remember to keep breathing.

Thanks!

Bearded Dragons get pretty big and you could only keep a baby in there.
You really need an enclosure with a footprint that is at least 36" x 18"

yeah like I said he is BROKEN. He is completely healthy, he is just mentally challenged. He also refuses to cover his poo and when he does pee in the box he won't cover that either. Oh yeah and he doesn't squat, he pees and poops standing up.

So yeah...............BROKEN.

Bearded dragons are gorgeous, and yes the adults need a bigger terrarium. But it's worth it if you can afford the tank and the space etc because they are really cool creatures :)

hahah awww that last part made me laugh TINK :D

My cat Falcor has a toy tiger that he humps. He was a lot worse before his urethrostomy (which changes his male urethra into female - he essentially had his penis chopped off) but he still humps her to high buggery- then he cracks the sads when she doesn't respond so he starts meowing and kicking at her while holding her in a bear-hug. The funniest part is when he's actually humping her - i'd never seen a cat do that before Falcor. The first time i realised what he was doing, it was when I was having a dinner party - he trotted out to the lounge with her in his mouth, then dropped her and started humping away, much to the amusement of my guests, lol.

I've decided to go the terrestrial route. I would have loved to get a bearded dragon, but they grow too big for the 10 gallon.

I'm planning on setting up a terrarium scene inside the tank with only plants and a trickle system on a sprawling plant. Fir bark as substrate for the majority of the bottom, and gravel for the one side of the tank where I'll fasten the water hole and drip system.

Getting a mini grow house will be my primary focus, then i'll find a small animal like a lizard or frog that would be acclimatized to the environment I have already created. My next dillema is how i'm going to set up a trickle system, and which lights I should buy. I might even settle on a commercial waterfall out of all simplicity.

the drooling and the food thing remind me of my azi bear. she always jumps up on me to get some love after she's done eating and has a chin full of crummies :D

well my boy cat has a trashy habit , he was a street cat as a baby and loves trash lol he knocks over the trash and snoops around .. but dont worry i got him one of those little bathroom trash can so the mess wont be to bad ..
he loves toilet paper, we can not leave it out he destroys it
his breath is always funky , but he loves to give kissys
oh and he loves to be picked up .. when i pick him up he hugs my neck and doesn't let go, then he rubs his stinky kisses all over me.

hes the sweetest trouble maker

My Scopas Tang tends to eat frozen food as soon as I drop it in the tank, and promptly crashes into the rocks and generally looks like he's dying until the food thaws a bit in his stomach.

He has yet to learn that this is a bad idea.

I think I'm gonna start thawing the food first

=D
