Kush

I wanted to know what kind of weed is Kush. Is Kush really better than other weed.Cause this guy wanted to sell me some, but he is charging more than what I pay for regular weed.Is it worth getting kush, is the effect the same as regular weed, or is it different, Cause some people tell me the effect is different.

From the Big Book of Buds:

"The Hindu Kush mountain range lies in the northern regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. This area may have been marijuana's birth country, and marijuana, in the form of hashish, has been commonly used in these regions for many centuries. Selection has long favored indica-type plants. Today, strains from this region are considered representative indica plants."

....

Personally I think these are excellent herbs. If grown and cured well they are usually very potent, and deliver a strong body stone and possibly some threshold psychedelic effects as well.

There is an Afghani strain called Mazar (not exactly Kush, but another pure Indica from the same region) that is one of my regular smokes. It is very easy to get *very* high smoking this herb :)

But don't pay $60 / 8th :p

How can WE possibly tell you..? Ask if your dealer shows what he's talking about first, then make your decision. Don't let us decide, for all we know it's worthless.. Most "Kush" from seedbanks are mainly Indica, a small percent of Sativa, so they're hybrids (what isn't these days).. Makes for a nice smoke, but your "Kush" may be different from these.

Kali mist

I was wondering if anyone had tried the strain kali mist, i have hear that it is supposedly some of the best bud ever, a1 stuff. Can anyone whose tried it post their own opinions?

I was smoking that back in march in Amsterdam. It's a great strain, it has a really spicy smell and a nice sativa high.

I have had some Kali Mist crossed with some Mendanuiska Tundra (spelling) before. It was around here a couple of months ago. It was some real good bud. I remember it having a very strong smell. It was definitly very high sativa.

my .02 cents says that it is a magnificent strain. i can do anything and still laugh my ass off whilst high on it!

Lower phosphate levels in flowering also contribute to purple buds. Strain names aren't bullshit and stable genetics are not as rare as people put them out to be. Different strains have different characteristics. If you're buying from a dealer a lot of the time they just give you a bullshit name based on whatever's hot at the time. At the most recent festival I was at the cry was, "Trainwreck". I've smoked Trainwreck and they weren't peddling trainwreck. The taste of TW reminds me NYCD and it was nothing close. Different ratios of terpenes, CBD, and THC account for the difference in highs. Mantanuska Mist is alright but Rob from Sag seeds supposed clone of Mantanuska Tundra (a.k.a.- Alaskan Thunderfuck) was not original. Nobody really knows what it is, but it isn't MT. Doesn't matter because it still gets you high and its pretty good, but its not true AT. Still waiting to get my hands on it personally.

Kushs are generally not that strong but have a unique smell and taste that some people love. Generally Kushs are used for stabilizing genetics.

Let me clear it up for you. NL originated in the Seattle area from Humboldt genetics in the late 70's. That much is fact. Who bred it out is not certain. Back in the day it was pretty much impossible to grow North of the mason dixon because all the seeds people were getting was from Mexi or if they were lucky Cambodian, Vietnamese, or Colombian. They get lots of sun in those places. Sativas can take many months to finish flowering.

My personal faves are Albino Rhino (different than WR) and Trainwreck. For sativa Neville's haze is a classic high. I tend to like indica's more as tricked out sativas fuck with my anxiety too much. Exact opposite reason of why I smoke weed.

The best strain that I have ever sampled is called "The Cough". As far as I know, this strain has not made it out of Colorado where it was made by crossing Northern Lights #5 and Haze. The shit smells to me like fresh pine trees and burns very cleanly. Of course, the stuff is appropriately named. One single hit from the batch that I scored knocked my ass on the couch where all I could do is shake, grin, and totally trip-out. I'd feel high for a good 4 to 6 hours before coming down with no post-pot lethargia.

That was the best smoke ever. Of course, I hear those crazy Fort Collins growers have come up with a Cough #2 strain now but I haven't tried it.

These days my bud has mostly been a form of Northern Lights grown aeroponically in which the nutrients are literally sprayed onto the roots. AFAICT, the grower has been perfecting his own version of the strain for years. Every batch is a little bit different. The most recent stuff I scored is the bomb (second best only to The Cough that I mentioned above). One hit makes me feel like I am enlightened with gorgeous visuals. It lasts for about 6 to 8 hours, and also has no post-pot lethargia.

I have had very few smokes that lack the post-pot lethargia and I am always so very happy when I find one. The batch of shit I got before this one was Critical Mass. It was super-potent downer weed that unfortunately only felt euphoric for about the first couple of hours. After that, it trailed off into a nasty pot-over with a headache until I get a full night's rest.

I'm just looking forward to getting to California and getting a better selection of tasty outdoor sativas. :) I prefer trippier shit.

Has anyone ever heard of the kind bud strain called pineberry?

Blueberry, hands down the best weed i have ever had (it was grown by a friend out here in california) i saw rainbows, time stopped for what felt like over two thousand years and made me extremely hyper.

check overgrow.com for ratings and info.

white widow is good stuff...9/10 in my book and you don't need a whole joint to get off on it...a few hits does it (for me, anyways).

I had some a few weeks ago and its definitely one of my fave strains. I think it must be the loads of white crystals that make it kick ass. A few puffs and you should be seriously stoned. %)

dont wanna sound like a dick, but i doubt very much what u had was real white widow, but i may be wrong.

white widow is a high yeilding , VERY easy to grow strain , its almost impossible to have bad results growing it, unles your a complete moron.
