[MEGA] 2010-2011 Community Growing advice, tips, tricks, & experiences

Carl, I think you might have confused what I was saying with the lemon juice ( dont use it anymore)
But when I did, I would always put my nutes in the water, full up the water jug, then add lemonjuice until I hit 6.0 usually. thats probably 2 out of every 3 watering.
Now, I have a reverse osmosis system in my house, so the water we get, is 7.
I wasn't giving it different ph's on different days, I just didnt add lemon juice some of those days, though the nutrients I was feeding the plant claimed to be acidic and helped with ph, it never did, so , I just used lemon juice when my plant started to turn yellow and droop.

I added nutrients the added lemon juice.

As of now, Im not using nutes yet for my plant, as there is NO yellowing on my indoor plant (even the two first round leaves are growing bigger and not dying, normall those leaves die within a week for me lol)


And pap, it wasn't your fault, lol, Ive just been through alot and get very defensive and very offended very easily.
And it very difficult to express through text, even harder to interpert what that other person really mean.

As for the outdoor, its gonna make it, its looking good now, I just gotta keep it in the shade
Hope it lives , and the people who live here, one studied botany, so , silk flowers wont work, haha he literally goes out and checks it daily, but, he thinks its a different type of plant than , well, weed. lol. I think its because the leaves were kinda deformed at first so he didnt know, but now, I cut those off, and good leaves are growing, so, I think he'll be catching on within the next week, so Im trying to think of what to do, and again, thank you everyoneeeeee

and I know Northern lights is normally an indoor, as its indica, and it can be pretty short and stubby,
But, Im pretty sure that if I treat right, and fine a place that will do the plant justice, Im pretty sure I can get them both to live through
season and harvest.

Haha, yeah , he was a marine, studied Chemistry, Botany, Engineering, Material Safety, Biology , he's ridiculously smart,

Yeah, Ill bring in a plant and he'll name it all , and the actual plant kingdom/genus/class/family, its ridiculous.
He started telling me what he thought it was the other day, I was just like, yup, pretty sure thats what it is lol.
 
what part of the country do you live in? I live in south texas where its rediculously hot...
 
wow,.......yeah, its tough to grow outside in weather like that unless the strain is hardened for it.....there are plenty that will work okay...
 
haha, he found out what it was, well, he came up to me today while I was outside watering my morning glories, and he was like "hey, that looks like ranunculus (he thought that due to the jagged weird rounded look of the leaves when it first came up) , and if its not ranunculus its marijuana" ....

I was like "Umm, Well, if it was marijuana I dont think it would just have leaves on top , it would branch out everywhere and it would have many more leaves than it currently does, it wouldn't get 6 inches tall and have 2 sets of leaves."

lolll idk what to do , He caught on....Im gonna try to replace the plant, with a different one that looks similar, over nute it, and have it die, just so he thinks it disapperead, meanwhile, Im going to replant somewhere else or stick in my closet until I cant find another place, but, Any Ideas.

See, I was considering just letting it die, as he knows now, but I can't do that to a plant I knew is fem </3.(well, with the way it pushed out leaves at first, wouldnt suprise me if it was hermie)
but, I just dont have it in me to be able to kill a poor little weed that could make me smile in 2-4 months, lol.

yeah....don't take any chances.......its not too bad since you live in california. In Texas, they hang you....
 
Im not gonna take chances, I know its bad in texas, had a friend who lived there, and got in trouble for 1.2 g, got like a huge as fine and a few months.

As for me, well, I can't really risk anything, as, I could also get in trouble, I have an appointment to get my card and everything, have the money too,just gotta get there and get my card, and Ill be safe. Then after that I can grow outside and they can't say shit , hah
 
that's awsome,....I wish I could do that. My nephew is a provider in the bay area.....he grows some bad assed shit...
 
Yeah, most of my friends who have gotten their card went to sanfran/oakland to get their card....

Maybe Ill trade bud with him someday whe I get my card, lol...

what are the reprecusions for growing in Texas? On NORMLs website they dont seem to differentiate chargers between possession and cultivation like some other states do, a quick googling doesnt reveal any exact answers, i have a friend who is suppossed to be asking one of his family members/local judges but he hasnt gotten back to me on it, do u know for sure?
 
Like many other states, Texas divies up punishments based on the weight of the drug possessed or sold. The possession of up to a pound of marijuana (this includes very minor amounts) will generally carry a sentence of 6 months to 2 years in a state jail and a $2,000 - $10,000 fine. However, if you have no prior felony convictions and are arrested with up to a pound, a Texas judge must impose a sentence of probation with drug treatment (for a duration at the judges discretion). The judge can also waive the fines, in this case.
 
Im pretty sure any way you want to look at it, if having less than a quarter oz can land you in jail for 3 month and a 2000-10,000 fine, I wouldnt even want to think about how theyd want to punish a grower.

I know I didnt really hit your question on the top of the head, maybe someone else will, just , tryin to help
 
After the five pound limit, the court will assume you are a major trafficker, and the penalties increase rapidly (these felonies are not of the "state-jail" variety):

*
5 - 50 lbs: 2 - 10 years, $10,000 fine
*
50 lbs - 1 ton: 2 - 20 years, $10,000 fine
*
1 ton+ : 5 - 99 years, $50,000 fine

that might help a bit more, as , growing can be related to trafficking pretty easy IMO

still sounds like to me that if one was only growin a plant or two then it would just be proscecuted by weight and there for wouldnt be any bigger of a deal then a +4oz felony MJ charge......up to a limit of course though depending on how many plants and what they weighed ( i doubt they would harvest n dry the product, they'd prob wiegh the whole plant, after all, its all MJ :\ )
