Your plant is looking great Prelude.

Got a photo of your clones? Did you manage to cut back the fan leaves on them?

Also dont start counting flower untill your plant actually starts flowering, not by when you switched the lights because it may take another 2 weeks for your plant to actually start.

Did you order nutrients online? I'd wait for those to come in, and give your plant a good flush before you start feeding flower nutes. Why dont you think the plant will enjoy being flushed??.

Just to add, plants in flowering that recieve to much nitrogen will try to veg again and throw new growth from the tops and will stretch massively.

i have a few sativas that have just barely put out the dual white hairs, while my grape ape is about to finish........ sometimes they can take what seems like forever to start flowering:p

Yeah I had 2 sativa's indoor take 4 weeks to start flowering once. They love taking there time :p

Well, day 4 of flowering, 12/12 , cut two clones, both survived, and have been doing alright for the past 3 days...
Plant is now 21 inches tall, and Im not sure if its flowering , or putting out more leaves, my guess is leaves , just because Im scared they look like little seeds, or balls , w/e, but I guess that the leaves come out the same way, so, Ill try to take some pics when its more 'defined' and I can actually get a shot of it , Ill post up some pics of the 2 clones and my big baby (girl girl girl I hope)

Not exactly the most healthy clones I've seen, but, they don't look too bad, for my first shot at even attempting to clone anyways, I dont have a humidity box, in the closet they are in it's averaging 30% Will that be okay? they dont seem to be doing bad in there...
Will 30% humidity have any negative effects on my plant that is flowering? (or atleast its TRYING to push out those flowering...better be vulvas and not balls! lol)

-edit-
Is 6 bulbs atop the plant to much? I've got light around the entire plant but I feel some of that light may be going to waste, if I've got 150 watts directly above the plant, and 100watts around the plant... I dont know...It would seem I would want 100 above the plant and 150 around it, who knows, I guess this is just an experimental grow.

I hoped you're right little bro.....I'm certainly rooting for you....pun intended.....LOL

the clones.....keep misting them with a spray bottle...mist, mist, mist....that's the only way they can get any water....they don't have roots, after all......if it wasn't for the fact that plants can absorb water throught their leaves, you wouldn't be able to clone them at all......mist, mist, mist.....and a humidity dome that can cover the clones to keep in the humidity will go a long way also....

Hmm, thanks for that info, I actually had been putting tiny ammounts of water in there..(the soil has remained moist so I havent needed much...
I just started misting them today, after I read that, hmm, hope they will be okay, or if I can save em, how long will it take until I know if I have a rooted clone or not? I mean, its been 2 days, and they still haven't wilted over and died yet, but, I guess that could happen tomorrow...hah

^^^^Two questions , I thought flushing with water could be dangerous cause it could easily over water the plant? Now Im not too familiar with flushing , so, I dont really know..

I did order them, but they had to be back ordered and it may take a week or so. When it comes to too much nitrogen, how much is too much, is 10-20-20 too much? or are we talking like, 30-10-10...
I've got 0-10-10,

Posted the pics, I cut the nodes up to about 3 nodes or 4 nodes on the clone, shaved the bottom of the cutting off, clipped off 2 nodes, put it in rooting powder, then put my finger in the soil to make a hole to put the clone in, then covered that hole with soil.

I was all excited, thinking that flowering would show in 3-5 days...awww...
lol

As long as you flush the plant once then let it dry up over days it'll be sweet. Just dont water so often and you can water more litres.

I would use the 0/10/10 for now, if anything starts to yellow up you may need to feed it another BLOOM nutrient with a bit of N. Now I just read you said your order will take a week or so, you shouldnt really have a problem with just flushing twice before you start feeding her again just to get rid of the extra Nitrogen in the soil.

They look nice for 3 days, but im not sure there gonna look to good in a few days or so. For a cut to strike roots it's leafs need to be absorbing moisture at all times to provide energy for root's. Ive only ever used a humidity dome so what your doing may work, but im not convinced. Keep them well spray and dont let the medium dry out.

Also if I was you, with that second clone id take the bottom two leafs off, and cut the rest of the leafs on the plant in half. This is so the cut dosent have to work so hard providing moisture and energy to extra part's of the foilage. Id also cut the first one aswell.

Your mother plant is looking noice :)

Yay, Moms looking nice, thats what I want to hear *not dad* haha.

I just went ahead and snipped the bottom leaves off of the clones, and cut the lower nodes
Ive never cut leaves before, though I dig suggest it earlier, cutting the shade leaves partly off for better ventalation, didnt do it though, lol, any technique with that or just cut the leaves in half? (no not down the middle I know, lol)

Thanks again.

Oh yeah, edit...
As for flushing, what do I do, just take water and keep putting it through the soil, and let it drain out the bottom?
How much water do I use, Ive never done this before.

How old is she? Usually males show first, your plant has been growing a while the longer it goes the better chance female IME.

Ill try find a picture that shows clones that have been cut. Your literally just cutting each finger on the leaf in half. It would come out looking like, say if you where to chop all your finger in half.

Thats a 5 gal yeah?

You could be feeding between 15-20 litres of water once or twice a week depending on how quickly she sucks it up. How often are you feeding now and with how much?

Also it'd be a good idea to tie all those lower branches out and away from the main for maximum yeild.

You could super crop them, would be easier but you need to be gently at the same time. Saves you screwing round with tying knots and shit if you were to use string or something.

use insulated wire, its easy to cut, and bend and it holds its shape pretty well. no knots. just hooks
.......

the periods make an s hook shape.

*sigh* pretty sure that its a male. looking at the area where preflowers come, it doesnt look like its gonna be another leaf popping up, looks kinda like multiple round tiny things. Fucking damn...I really hope Im wrong.

Damn soz to hear that mate :(

Should buy a nice female strain your next grow, you got it down it so you shouldnt have any problems, plus no males :p

I gota say that picture is extremely incriminating, if the grower isnt on a Med card.

You can make out the dudes finger print completely.
