Meeting girls at raves

My girlfriend and I are always getting hit on by men which is definitely a little bothersome at events. Especially when they're drunk.

I'm all about having fun and meeting new people, but there is a huge difference between "Hey, what's up? I like your lights/shirt/etc." and "Hey, what's up? I think you're wicked hot :fondle:"
 
you really don't want to hook up with people at raves... that's just asking for herpes.



not saying that rave girls are trashier than normal girls.. just sayin the type of girl that will hook up with you at a rave is normally they type of girl that hooked up with ten guys before you at that very same rave.

seriously.. if you're trying to hookup at raves, you should stop going to raves and goto top40 nightclubs with the rest of the date rapists.

I'm a girl who goes to raves. I don't think I'm dirty, or skanky, or lack class (and why is it that only raver females are seen this way, and not all the sweaty, sex-crazed men who will sell their left arm just to grab a titty? *eyeroll*). I consider myself a pretty intelligent, worthwhile human being most of the time. I don't even really mind getting hit on (provided it's not in a creepy or scary way). I love meeting new people, having interesting conversations, and if someone finds me attractive, I'm generally flattered, but I'm just not interested in hooking up with anyone at a rave. If we hit it off, maybe we'll exchange numbers and hang out sober sometime, and if we still get along, maybe a hookup will be in the future if my boyfriend is down, but I need to experience someone when both of us are sober to feel comfortable making a good call on how much I actually like them.
 
bull shit about it hard to meet girls at raves. girls are basically rapists on the prowl at raves. one time, i went all by myself and took a roll that didn't work so i wasn't talking to anyone and i would feel my ass get slapped and then turn around and see some too cool for school chick walking by like nothing happened. Then when I was 17 this Asian chick wanted to take my virginity and her fat white guy friend was like wtf since obviously he had been working on trying to get in her pants for like the last 10 years. And I don't look like a model, either. It's girls plus tabs equals sopping wet panties, simple algebra.

When I was going to them, way back in the day.... I was alway's with my GF at the time, we went everywhere together. We were pretty much joined at the hip until she got into yayo. None of the girl's I saw every weekend at parties were ever trashy either. I alway's saw them with the same group's, and mostly the regular's we stuck together. When some strange fellas would come in being cocked and ready to rock, we made sure they knew it wasn't welcomed.;)

Then again, I never went to any of the house music parties. Strickly hardcore, and DnB.
 
^ ahhhhh the old days! its not like that anymore man. i remember going to all the parties in a 100 mile radius and you walk through the door and spot 50 people you spotted at the last party. if someone started a fight there was a MOB on them throwing them out, and they werent security. same went for watching out for girls and drug dealers selling bunk shit.

now its an underage all you can rape fest! raving is dead.. bums me out.
 
i find it really easy to hook up with girls at raves especially if they were on e's too

In fact, one time when I was about 17 there was this chick who was 16 and we were rolling and some older college guy was obviously not rolling and trying to pick her up by saying "all the right things." I got her the f out of there and got her her own hotel room far away from that guy, and he was accusing me of being the hugest cock block ever because you could tell she was thinking about it. i'm 25 now and she still calls about once a year like I'm some kind of great person. Feels good man.
 
Raves arent good paces to hook up in my experience. You're better off sticking with your group and having fun with them. Its always nice if you happen to meet some cool people but most of the time you wont find alot of people looking to find someone to hook up with.

Plus after the rave 99% of the people are scattered as hell on the comdown.

I'm a girl and e makes me paranoid lol. My hubby and I went to a Halloween rave last year and there was security outside of the venue and u was convinced they
Knew I was rollin and that they were gonna have me thrown in jail. Or course the didn't and the night was awesome!:) but also when we r home and go outside I panic that the neighbors can c me lol. So I really just think that with girls it might b a paranoia thing lol
 
I don't know about paranoia...

Doesn't matter if I'm drinking or rolling, when I go out with my friends I know I'm going home with them as well. Even my single friends wouldn't ever go home with a guy, nor would we let them. Get a number, cuddle, make out... sure. I don't know if this is normal among groups of girls all over or not... but it is with my friends and nearly all the girls I hang out with.

Keep in mind that girls going to raves are usually younger (at least around here) and younger girls tend to cling to their friends more.

I don't know... I really don't understand how many women can even go to bars, get drunk and go home with a guy. That idea is just.... no bueno.
 
I duno I'm a girl myself and trust me.. being a gir at a rsave can be hell, around 80% of the men surrounding you are sleezey and horny(probs cos of E) and its kinda hard to enjoy yourself when your constantly being approached by random dodgy guys you just can't be with regular guys.. Its hard to hook up at a rave... its loud and packked.....

Don't take it personally.. this may not be true but its how I feel.

Aw, good for you. There will always be the good intentioned and raves, but there will also be the people with terrible intentions, that are going to sober, trying to take advantage of your innocent, often trusting state.
 
It also depends on the state of you ! If your peaking eyes going one way, jaw going the other sweat dripping down your face and you stink of vicks then do you really expect that hot chick to think 'wow I’ve scored'.

I think its much easier at raves (same with anywhere really) to go out looking for fun and if something else happens then great. I would always be careful picking somebody up in a rave as there’s nothing worse than coming down / waking up next to some troll after the beer/e goggles have worn off.

(Not that this has ever happened to me or course =D)
 
Actually, there are some of the most attractive women/girls where I live out of anywhere I've been...I wouldn't recommend picking up strangers in general, but they've all been clean looking, etc. I'd be more worried they were crazy than anything, lol.
 
I meet lots of girls at raves. :) Raves are about making friends (for me and most people I know), but it's possible to find someone for romance too. It's certainly happened before.

I have noticed that plenty of guys at raves are out to find girls...If I am sitting alone, waiting for my boyfriend to get out of the bathroom or come back with some water, I have never been alone for longer than a minute before some guy comes up to me and starts asking me "why look so lonely." It's really annoying....
