Medical Marijuana 101 (and schizophrenia)?

Some doctors won't give him any stimulants but he will seek out the doctors that are willing to give him the prescriptions he wants. He can look perfectly normal sometimes or I should say when he's confronted by strangers unless his having an all out psychotic freak out. You have to talk to him in length and in depth in order to find out that he is not with it at all. He's good at faking it. He knows how he has to act in front of doctors and LEOs. He goes to ER and usually are released within minutes because they just don't see anything wrong with him. They should all have mountain of records on him but I guess that's besides the point and it's not how it works I suppose. So he talks his doctor into giving him some Ritalin/Concerta (36mg x 2 per day) so he can work. He will do all of 60 x 36mg within days and go absolutely nuts when he runs out.

What is wrong with the system here?? What are the families do to?
 
My buddy is a.skitso/bi polar. He takes seroquel 300mg a day. A lot less then the 1600 he was taking almost two times the dose he was.supposed to. But he also smokes pot regularly and not so much spice. Before the seroquel and the other mess he is on he destroyed his house because of "people he saw in his house" has been baker acted several times. Since he has been put on meds and still smokes weed and does mdma or did probably still does he no longer sees shit and has became a model. Idk if this.helped any but I think with the right mix of meds and doing something you truly enjoy doing like getting high and getting your pic took then skitso can be over came. This case seem a lot more severe so idk why I'm saying all this. But fuck spice I would NOT encourage your friend to do it. I have seen my friends die from it. Be put in the hospital and I have had my own experiences with it. Its worse than crack in my opinion. It is very addictive and the guy who made it said quote on quote "no I wouldn't smoke this, do you have any idea what's in it?" All it is is grass and shit sprayed with chemicals

I suspect that he has an underlying drug problem, not an underlying organic mental illness, although I'm not a doctor. Instead of going down the mental health route I would concentrate on cutting off his supply of Ritalin. There must be a way to alert all the doctors he's seen that he's a drug seeker. You might want to see a drug worker for advice.
