Whilst I'm not gonna argue about the need for a microgram scale when measuring RC's active at doses in single digit micrograms, it's at least worth pointing out that 'eyeballing' RC's whose threshold doses are ~20mg plus isn't necessarily gonna kill you. *
Of course, this is assuming nothing else has been consumed.* <
Gonna edit this because although my experiences doing it haven't been harmful, somebody else's could. So don't eyeball doses. I don't need a death on my conscience right now.>
What're the average doses of an insufflated line of say coke, or heroin? A brief google search (rigorous research i know) suggests 50-500mg (?) and 10-80mg respectively (thanks erowid). The large variations are due to variations in purity. Ever seen a person take a little scale out of their pockets before railing a line of coke?
The other point I wanted to make regards the accuracy of a £12 scale. Personally, I just wouldn't trust it, especially in measuring such low weights. I'm sorry if i come across as a little bugger; I just wanted to point out what might, or might not, potentially save someone a bad time. If anyone wants to disagree with my claim of cheap scales being inaccurate, then please do. I might actually buy one then.
Which leads me onto point three: Enough of all this "if you can afford a gram of XYZ then you can afford a scale." This simply isn't true in every case. Some of us have to choose whether to spend our money on the drugs
or the scale. And we all know impatience wins out in the end.
Again, sorry if i came across in any way hostile there. I really didn't mean to. Besides, with 5 posts I surely can't afford to.
Buy a scale.
