MDPV Megathread 10: Stuffandnonsensemonger

Be careful with pinning it, start off small. With smoking it kinda runs like gear but is a lot more sensitive to the flame, and i perfected a kind of stroking motion with the lighter under the foil so that the heat wasn't constantly on it, making it frazzle (its the difference between making it last a few more lines). Another reason why smoking is better i.m.o. is that the rush is more intense (which is one of the few drugs that i can say that about), building and getting more intense with each line: as opposed to i.v. where there is no distinct rush and even after a short while its lacking, unlike chasing. If you do decide to i.v. (I know this sounds trite/old but please do start small i.e: 10-15mg, If you don't have ug scales please don't dose by eye, but if you are going to anyway, a matchhead is a size to start at, which is roughly 1mg and work your way up) it's time for the old chesnut to be whipped out "You can always take more, but never take it back" ;) Seriously, that has saved my life on more than one occasion and trust me waking up in hospital with tubes coming out of every orifice!
Me and a friend both said that smoking it has the confidence of coke without the brash arrogance, and the empathy that mdma brings but without the touchy-feely and gurny like quality. The high rivals crack but without the 'spikey-ness', bringing a smoothness to the mix. The 'rush' (from smoking; my preferred r.o.a.; haven't tried sniffing it yet though but have heard enough about that to know that wasn't going to be my first r.o.a.)

Yeah that superman feeling was great but I think it goes away as your brain "gets used" to mdpv. It's a bizarre chem, it seems so decievingly awesome at first. My first vape of mdpv scared me how good I felt. I actually almost dumped it and spent the rest of my life trying to forget it. I just knew it was gonna be trouble, haha. Boy was I right, lol.
 
right any of you get this last few stim binges i've had black out gaps in time just totally lost not dazed just gone altogether , this stuff did the same thing the other week to me like booze or benzo blackout

Yeah I've been having trouble with this today, it seems there's a very fine line between getting it to vape just right and completely frazzling it. I've never tasted anything close to the vileness that is burnt MDPV smoke. My technique might be shit as I'm fairly new to foil but I had no problems with meth or heroin.

Also, sometimes I hold the lighter under the foil for like 10 or 15 seconds and nothing happens, my fingers get burnt but the pv remains solid, even when the flame is right underneath it on full. Weird.

Consequently I haven't been able to reach the blissed-out carefree state of zen I was aiming for, am I just retarded or is pv peculiarly difficult to vape?

This is why it's my all-time favourite drug (not sure why you single out coke for arrogance though, all stims can do this, though imo it's more about the person than the drug). It takes the best of everything - the in-your-face euphoria of coke, the rushiness of speed, the smooth relaxation of meth, then add just the slightest pinch of mdma magic and you have something that truly can be all things - not always good things, but always worthwhile in retrospect.

I find it odd, because to the casual observer stimulants might seem one-dimensional and devoid of insight potential, but I have found pv anything but. I can't quite put my finger on it but somehow it's helped me enormously, in some mysterious and oblique way.

Yeah I used to get blackouts on MDPV. Towards the end of my use they got worse and worse. It's like your body just shuts down for a few hours and you have no idea what just happened. One minute your vaping pv the next you just wake up. What's worse is what you do while blacked out. Apparently I used to spit growl and argue with myself. People who witnessed it would get real scared. One even said I was possessed. My Brother once kicked the shit out of me after shaking me awake because of it and all the other stupid stuff I got up to while on it. Very scary stuff. It only gets worse and worse as well.

Im cravin pv like an insane right now and the bag of mxe is done :|. Just ordered sum drugs, was so close clickin on mdpv but I did good and ended on Ethylphenidate.

Should have got some tryptamines instead of a stim, but yea.. At least I didnt get the pv!

I'm loving MDPV lately! Makes me feel just dandy ... Hours and hours of analysing the world and everyone in it, and feeling like you have the answer to everything. I have noticed a tendency of a lot of people to perhaps reveal just that bit too much about themselves - somewhat like MDMA - which can get pretty fucked up and embarrassing (but laughable so later) plus the time dissolves into nothing. You can even start having incredible sex and realise you're still doing it two hours later!
I used to find this drug inferior to speed, i.e. it didn't seem to last long enough and I would even get some sleep that night, but a second dose not long after the first is just what the doctor ordered. And then, the result is far better than speed, since there's that little euphoric coke feeling. Also, during early use, the comedown could have you feeling strung out and emotionally fragile the next day but, with increased use, it becomes highly handleable - so you can have a last dose at like 6am the next morning, then feel capable of carrying on a normal day (as long as you've used magnesium to control the bruxism, which could leave you with a painful jaw otherwise). I'm just excessively pissed off they've gone and banned this drug in Australia. Glad to have stocked up but the party can't go on forever, I guess.
 
^ Not sure quite such a hard line is needed, Nick. I totally understand why you'd say that given the situation you - and most other peev thread regulars - find themselves in. However, telling people to just stop using when they're clearly still enjoying the early stages is unlikely to work. Problem with peev is that it is so very damn good when it's good. The fact it has a near 100% casualty rate is kinda irrelevant to people in that situation. Personally, I'd be more inclined to point out the risks of regular/heavy use and advise to keep it as an occasional party drug which is how it sounds like how LLT is currently using it. And also recommend popping back into the peev thread regularly to check-in and ideally have a read through some of the archived ones too (virtually de rigeur when peeved up anyway :D).

Like all drugs, I'm sure MDPV can be used responsibly. In the particular case of MDPV that just seems to be an unusually remote possibility. All we can really do is be honest about the whole thing - the good side and the hellish side - and be there with information, advice and support if/when things do turn sour.

I find it dead easy to chase but then again have had some considerable practice... I sometimes get that thing you mentioned where you hold the flame for ages and nothing happens - it's cos you're not lined up right. Sounds kinda silly but that's always what it is for me. Peev seems to play havoc with depth perception sometimes and you end up just heating the wrong spot. If your foil is wrinkly or creased that can also create weird hot/cold spots which make efficient vaping irksome. If you find your peev ain't running then just adjust the position of lighter and/or foil. The peev will melt/run more or less instantly upon getting flame and foil connected at the right place. It has a very low melting point so you barely need any heat at all - the less the better.

Yup. Like Ben I used to get these all the time. Seems to mostly happen when you take an overly massive hit and/or are utterly exhausted. Often both. I dread to think what goes on when blacked out but am pretty sure it's what Ben mentions :/

Off topic I know but is there something I can read about the "booze/benzo blackout = brain damage" statement? And do you mean only in combo?
 
I don't think it's brain damage. Although given what peev does to body and mind I wouldn't put it past it... For me it seems to be closely tied to dose. It only ever happens to me when I take an absolutely heeey-oooooje bongload - or several smaller ones back to back. Even sometimes if I chase a shitload without much pausing for breath. I actually used to do it deliberately when I'd been flat-out for days on end and needed to crash. I'd just take back-to-back bonghits till I blacked out. I assumed I was actually passed out but given what Ben said I now wonder. I'm sure I'd come around sometimes to the sound of screaming when in that inbetween state. Guess I wasn't just imagining that then :\

Other than unusually large doses, it happens when I've been up for a looooooooooong time. At least a week usually. In that case I'm guessing it could well be actually passing out but still being so stimulated you might be a bit active - like sleepwalking or acting out a nightmare or summat.

Incidentally, I was under the impression that the "booze/benzo blackout = brain damage" thing was actually a myth?
