Blowing coke whilst rolling pretty much kills your roll. I'm sure most people are aware of that. I read somewhere exactly why it does, and I can't for the life of me find it again. So, why is it (biologically speaking) that cocaine kills MDMA dead?

Heh, accurate on the surface but IMO coke is a very social drug in moderation. The chatting can be very enjoyable, and some people it REALLY opens up. It only makes people self-centered when they do it often/regularly for awhile, i.e. addictively... unfortunately, lots of people end up there.SomeKindaLove said:A friend of mine once said "ecstasy is like cocaine except cocaine makes you love yourself and ecstasy makes you love others." Dunno if I agree but thought I'd put it out there.
MDMA causes reverse transport of serotonin through the serotonin transporter (SERT), whereas cocaine simply blocks the transporter with a similar or higher affinity than MDMA. If cocaine is sitting in the SERT, MDMA can't get in there and do it's thing, so the release of serotonin is stopped in its tracks.
