Kristen and Jaime you guys rock! We didn't get to dance together but oh well next time i guess...

It was wonderful meeting you too :D I'm glad we got to talk briefly :D

And yeah.... Donald Glaude did impress. I mean he fuckin remixed Lithium by Nirvana. HE REMIXED NIRVANA!!!!!!!! I almost died. Not only did he remix one of my favorite songs from years ago but... the way he remixed it was so perfect.

Heh. In my original review post I dont' think I said anything about the music lol. Steve Smooth was only on for 20 minutes. That was sad :( BBB was just...... ok. Nothing too impressive.

But I wasn't really there so much for the music. Much moreso for the people <3 I love you fucks!

And doesn't anybody want to see a link to my pictures :p I haven't gotten any PMs requesting it ;)

first rule in all music, you do not remix nirvana. :\

pfffffttttttt :p

I've heard it remixed a couple times and always enjoyed it. Might have to do with the fact I was a Nirvana obsessed freak from like..... 1994-1997 :p Yeah... not til after he killed himself did I learn to appreciate him.

On another note.... Brian is anyone gonna host your video?!? I'm anxious to see it! I know someone on here has some webspace for such wonderful video footage! ;)

yea, i was obsessed with nirvana too :P but i think the classics should just be left as is, just my opinion. I'll admit the remix wasn't too too bad, but it just seems taboo to me.

oh, that was a loooong weekend, and much needed... i coulda done without the rapid crowding of the house tent after the rain started, but that's really all i can complain about. (besides meeting my boyfriend's conservative, very christian, home-schooling-thier-kids aunt and uncle.)

god bless king-sized beds when exhausted from a party.

and i want to see any and all pictures... since i'm an idiot and NEVER remember to bring a camera.

(and Christian, i will NEVER forget the look on my boyfriend's face when you sat down next to me at Denny's. you freaked the hell out of him. DAMN ME FOR NOT HAVING A CAMERA AT ALL TIMES!)

Hm..... Dave sent me a video earlier. Is that what you're talking about?

Brian's is better for sure though. I didn't preview it on his camera like 3+ times for nothing ;)

I took the video on Daves camera! it was hotness.

Def. glad i got to meet many of you, and see some of you again...but dammit if it wasn't for only about an HOUR! If i could do it again, the only think i would ask for is more time. No shout outs, you guys all just rock. Can't wait to do it all again :)

^Partially my fault on that. Partially Mariposa's fault.

If here Cali stylee wasn't so severe, I wouldn't have gotten sick, and wouldnt' have crawled out of the room.

Damn you Ms. Posa! :X

;)

i have webspace. ill have luke set up the server so we all can drop our pics in and grab everyone elses. :) now, to get him away from the mini fanboy websites and get him to do it might be a challenge....

AMAZING

Let me say again Starscape was amazing. Definitely my vote for the best party for 2004 thus far.
Aight so it was most definitely a crazy & fun night for me. I had 3 friends drive down from Philly who I was entertaining at my place. We got to the party early at 7pm, setup a tent by a tree and started drinking & puffing away. Total 5 people. New Castle beer for the ladies, yingling for the fellas, a bottle of Cabo Wabo for toasting & 3 blunts for us all. And 2hrs. later (around 9:30) everyone is totally blurred. We decide to take a final group shot of Cabo Wabo to Chris-sin the night before walking in. After that last shot & 5min. later, me & my friend both end up passing out. (and throwing up offcourse. :( PARTY PEOPLE we are =D ) Meanwhile the other 3 people took an hour break then walked into the party and left us passed out. I was silli drunk. At about 12:15 she wakes me up that we have to go in, we can’t miss this party. Me, I’m hella grumpy, TERRIBLE headache but I force myself up & into the party because I was not going to miss this event. So we make it to the gates and I walk into Starscape with this pounding head-pain & very moody & grumpy cause my head hurts so bad and the music was not helping. Found some friends who had just rolled a blunt, so I smoked with them. After that blunt, all my head pains were gone, I was just very chilled and I was ready to party for the night. I was now happy and ready to dance. Still very blurry-eyed but at least things were moving much more slower to comprehend. Anyways so I got into my partying groove quickly as I kept meeting people and feeding off their good vibes. My local friends, outta state friends, and definitely you crazykewl blers. I thank everyone of you for helping make my partying night so fun.
I partied mostly in the DnB area. Fabio, Dj Rap, & dj Craze, were the best in that area. I also partied in the house tent. Donald Glaude & Scott Henry were my favorite. I liked a little bit of BBB’s set. Me & friends danced our asses off in whatever area we walked into, so overall I thought the music was on-point in all areas. I only wish I could have heard dj craze’s set & Faust & Shortees’s set in the hip-hop area. I heard it was insane.
The vibe throughout the night was definitely on-point as well. Many social people everywhere.
Ooh and the dancing, ooh the dancing people were so energized. I was loving it as everyone was getting down.
The rain was my only negative. I too was crammed somewhere under the house tent for a while as it rained. It was definitely hot under there and especially hard to dance, but the music was hyped and well people make space when you're dancing in a huge dance circle. IMPORTANT: If anyone knows if any of their friends that was videotaping that dance circle of me & the 4 other people PLEASE, PLEASE let me know. I definitely want a copy of that video!! Overall great party in my opinion. And we left at the very end. The drive home was very peaceful and the morning breeze felt so good as everyone in the car felt so content that they had all experienced a great event.
Aight so my shoutout goes out to all (regular blers & new blers met) gmni13, lemUrR, Brooklyn, doozer, Web (always in a great mood everytime I see you), Finder, TheLoveBandit, tranceaddiKt (WOW, cute), Crow, badboybrian, chrissie, buzzy, ryanlaughlin, TriXieee (this is the 2nd time we’ve met up at the ending of a party, next time we need to synchronize our watches or something to meetup earlier), phishEcLOVEr, etc... I'm happy for meeting each and everyone of you. Its definitely a memorable thing knowing the people who you interact with online. I’m tremendeously sorry that some of our conversations were short with a couple people, but me personally, I’m forever a dancer first and can’t not be dancing. But yeah hella fun meeting everyone. I’ll have my pics. developed soon to share with those who I took. I’ll finish off my camera this Thurs. at DB's benefit party PAYBACK

I thought we did meet??? maybe for a brief second. or maybe not. I smoke too much pot to have a super sharp memory. ;)

gmni13 was there!!!!!!!!!!! Pissed, I didn't see him. :(:(

What a great party!!! Donald Glaude was incredible. He was pumpin'! I could barely stand to take a break from dancing during his set, but I think I woulda passed out otherwise. The spitting rain sure kept me cool when I left the main tent. What a great night, I met so many people. Sorry I didn't meet up with many BL'ers, but I'll make sure I do next year. This was my first time, and I will def. be back every year.
Eric, did you make it? I didn't get you on the celly. Hope you came and had a good time.

Theresa, Jessica, Julia, and Rich : I had a lovely time meeting you and hanging out with you all. Thanks for taking care of me when things got a little blurry! ;)

PLUR!!!!!!!!!!

am i the only one who wasnt impressed by glaude? i mean, when i saw him at the asylum i had a blast, although he likes to break the track up in bad places... but this time i thought his mixing was off and his scratching sucked. maybe the vibe in the tent dancing made up for it, but from the sidelines i was not impressed.
