MD, Baltimore - 07.24.04 - Starscape 2004 **REVIEW**

I had an excellent time and great company :D Big thanks goes out to Brian (itzbryz) for drving our asses down there, and to Ollie for being my favorite partner in crime, and to Ryanlaughlin and his friend Mike for partying it up with us.

We got in Friday night and cracked open the alcohol as soon as we set our bags down in the room. Saturday we had fun walking around the inner harbor, drinking smoothies, then hitting up Starscape of course. It was really great seeing people I haven't seen in a long ass time, and finally meeting a bunch of new people too :) Donald Glaude tore the roof off, the main tent was insane especially cuz of the rain it was so crowded but we had a nice amount of room up front. The rain wasn't even too bad luckilly. Sunday consisted of breakfast at Denny's after Starscape, sleep and lots of travelling. Drove back to NJ then the train home to Long Island and topped the amazing weekend off with an awsome 311 concert at the beach.

My only regret is not spending enough time with everyone there and wishing we could have stayed longer. but I am thankful for the fun times and great memories of the entire weekend! :D

What an awesome time! I had my doubts that it would be better than last year, but I was definitely proved wrong! The rain just made it nicer...well for a little while anyhow since it was so danged hot early on in the evening.

Too bad I didn't get to meet any of ya once again.
 
I love you all :D Thanks for reminding me that I'm not too old to have a good time (as far as saturday goes), and thanks to those that took care of me (regarding friday). :)

OMG what a weekend!!!!!!

This was my 4th and by far BEST Starscape. Best weekend ever!! Where to begin!?!?

I'll start with my shoutouts

Jamie (dreamgirlie19): It was wonderful to FINALLY meet you! One of my favorite parts about this weekend was meeting you and partying with you. You are an amazing girl and I really hope we are able to hang out more! Fuck the whole distance thing! We'll definitely party again sometime. You rock <3

Melissa (dancinxtcangel): Great to see you again! As always, much fun was had. From hanging out at the mall to getting approached by scary people in Baltimore City (whats up with gas pumps that don't work!?) to the party itself..... fun fun. I'm really glad you came down again this year. It would not have been the same without you!

Todd (THE WOOD): I'm glad you decided to come out after all. As always, it was great seeing you. Luckily I saw you wandering around aimlessly or else I wouldn't have gotten to hang out with you for awhile as I dragged you over to the grassy knoll. Too bad you missed all the hot me + other girl action at the hotel I have pics though.... you'll be seeing them soon. And I got double prints so..... next time we get together....... ;) Which should hopefully be soon. If you're up for it, we should try Philly again now that you're 21 and we can actually get into clubs instead of bouncer's getting up in your face telling you to leave, like last time... bitches. I'm still pissed about that night we missed Danny Howells. Fuckin prick bouncers. I'm rambling...

Richard (Crow): Sorry I wasn't able to help you with that little problem you were having. Wish I could have. It was awesome seeing you again. Let me know when you upload your pictures!!!! You definitely have quite a few I really really want!!

Oh man...... these shoutouts could go on FOREVER. I'm never going to have time to say something about each and every one of you. So..... everyone who I met and spent time with and got to know.... you know who you are. And you know I love you guys. All of you <3 I can't wait to see all the pictures!!!!!! Unfortunetly my digital camera wasn't working (dunno WHY) but I had the disposable and got some pictures. Mostly from the hotel though. I dunno who got a hold of my camera that night but..... thanks for capturing the action for me ;) h4$

Honestly..... this weekend was just too fucking awesome. Every moment of it was one I hope to remember forever. From the hotel to the actual party to the "private" afterparty.... I didn't even anticipate having this wonderful of a time. But I'm so glad I did. I never wanted the weekend to end.

Honestly, I had never been to a bluelight meetup...I just know a lot of the NE bluelighters because they live so close and hang out more often than a big 'party' occurs. I was sorta nervous to meet so many people and be overwhelmed but I had a good time

The drive down SUCKED ass. It took us from 9am -around midnight. Stupid traffic in NYC had us sitting there for around 4 hours. We got stuck in two big accidents plus rush hour on a Friday night. Oh well...we did have good beats, and we got so tired of driving we were laughing hysterically at everything :D

Friday was cool, got to meet many of the bl'ers i have never met before. Some shoutouts

Finder- It was SOOO damn lovely to meet you after all this time. For a hippy, your damn hot:p

DancinXTC-You are an amazing girlie...Im glad we drove down together. You totally made me feel at ease and such, and the aimless girlie chatting we had was great.

Lapdawg- Sucks we didnt get to talk more, I apologise. I really hope you had fun.

SLG- Thanks for the laughs, the rides, the girly bonding time, and the fun. Will def. hang out again...when you finally come to the NE ;)

Web,Crow, Fizzy,BBB,CeeCee,Griff, TLB, Ebow...theres prolly a bunch more but these are on the top of my head..much fun meeting you guys :)

The absolute highlight of Saturday night....ryan you fucking rock. You made me have so much fun, seriously. I think we wrestled over a good few hours, i messed up my pretty hair-do lol, I was sweaty...and bruising BUT laughing my ass off the entire time. I really have bruises all over my stomach, arms and back from the falls haha but they dont hurt :) I really loved meeting you. BTW..HEY HEY, I WON!


I am sorry for those of you I didnt get to say goodbye to or anything. I left SS earlier than you guys and went and hung out in the jump on it room ;) I had an amazing time meeting new people and such, but it was 10x better to hang out with my good friends and party hardy :) When we walked back to 338 the girlies were sleeping and I didnt have the heart to wake em. I grabbed my bag and went back across the street (I think I left a bunch of stuff there...oops). We went to sleep around 11 i think and woke up at midnight which was far too late since most of you guys left Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

What I leared from the lovely cool people...I cant rhyme, I cant put my thumb down in time, I cant even get the hang of waterfalls BUT I had a damn good time laughing at myself. :D

The drive home was great today, i think we stopped at 80% of the reststops to get more ice for the mobile bar lol.

Also, I did not bring a camera with me...so can people please link me to the ones they took. I know Crow, BBB, SLG, have some I def. wanna see. IM me if youd like ' DreamGirlie19' on AIM.

Edit: BTW...I am able to say I was NOT part of the jaded BL cuddle puddle;). I in fact was sober until just before leaving the party...after that is a different story and I am QUITE glad only a few friends saw the puddle I became rofl.

I wish I could have been in 2 places at once because I really wanted to chill with all of you too, but then again I was having an absolute blast at the party and by that point there was no tearing me away. I'm glad I got to visit you later on, but by then I was crashing hard and so disoriented that I couldn't think straight (ask anyone at our hotel before I left to go there lol). Also, all I could think of was cleansing myself of the rave grime and passing out. Jamal and Cheryl, you suck for disappearing, I wanted to see you guys too. :)

We're definitely having girly time when you come up and visit, Kristen. No more shopping though, and I mean it this time!! ;)
