MD, Baltimore - 07.24.04 - Starscape 2004 **REVIEW**

Damn Chrissie, that was harsh. lol. I can't wait for this event, I haven't been to it since 2001. So, who needs a ride from the airport? Let me know and I might be able to help people out with rides for some gas money (I'm broke). :)

June worked out fine for me but July is actually a little bit better. Because I was already taking off in June for my bday weekend (normally I work weekends and those are my money making days) and I had to take off for Starscape as well. I wouldn't have made much of any money for rent and bills that month and that would have sucked.

The only thing that sucks about the date change is it means we have to wait an extra MONTH til Starscape. Otherwise though, it's fine with me.

Well if the party really ends up being July 24, that is the same weekend as WEMF which SUCKED last year, so I would definitely chose Starscape. I need to request the time off from work asap for this so I hope the date doesnt change again. A lotta people are coming for this from far away, let's hope they make a definite date for this party and stick to it!
 
:( im sad for all the people who got screwed by the date change :(... it shouldnt however affect my chances of going... so im still excited! but still... sorry for all you unfortunate folks. :(

I'm still on, just need to sort out where to stay and who to bring bail money for (or not).
 
That really pisses me off too.. i am not booking anythign till i have a definate date .. if they move it more than this once tho.. i probably just wont go.. boo!

and now JJ and Kim probably wont go.. cause they'll have the baby by then :(

i'll have to plan a special weekend now for me and Dan :(
 
I hope no one supports this prod. company with their hard earned $ if they change the date again.

there can't be a date change! wtf? That would make it three years in a row for me not going! Chrissie, don't get excited about this one right here not going ^...cause if he doesn't go, and Jamal doesn't go...Well, fuck it i'm screwed out of going. :( grrrrrrr (but you guys weren't going to the party anyways... so even if there IS a date change, shouldn't you still make the trip up ;) ) here's for wishful thinking :P

What is the likely price of a ticket for the event? I assume that the ticket price has remained largely the same over the years.

Dave~ Don't say things like that :( Ultraworld has thrown some of the best parties the Bmore/DC area has EVER seen and WILL EVER see. They had to deal with a lot of shit with this whole Rave Act thing and losing usage of the DC Armory over that and over stupid fucking idiots who decide that blatently obviously selling drugs and/or stumbling around like a fucked up moron is a smart idea and they end up fucking everything up for everyone :X :X

They could have given up 2 years ago when they lost the DC Armory (where they threw their other massives besides SS which is of course outdoor) but they didn't. They got in some serious shit then too but it's a long story, a lot of which I don't know. But they didn't give up, they're still going strong. And there's nothing fuckin shady about them at all. Yes they postponed the date last year, yes they did it this year too. Not without good reason I'm sure. No I don't know the reason but I trust that it's legit.

Just because you didn't have fun last year doesn't give you the right to bash Ultraworld. Also they aren't even the only production company throwing the party. Buzzlife (who through the weekly Cubik in DC) are working with them. Buzzlife has a strong reputation in the scene and has for over 10 fuckin years (hey... so has Ultraworld).

So don't unjustly badmouth them. That kind of shit might convince someone it isn't worth spending their money on this party. :X

Should be around $35-40 :D Might seem a bit pricey but believe me it is WELL WORTH IT :D
