Hey all, first post. I was there too, came down from MA with a mr. ebo (sp?). Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone from all over the map. I had a good time and it was cool meeting you all. Whether it was a rock and roll joy ride at the Days Inn (338 baby...), Holiday (cold chilling, pre-game / post game vegging), or the actual event itself (which was SOLID), I had a sweet time, great weekend everyone (and I would mention you by your goodly Christian names, I don't know most of your screen/board names, but I am not sure if you are allowed to toss those out on the board, will read the faqs and whatnot after I have slept...). Peace.

Finally home, sick of being in car, cannot form coherent sentences, need sleep.

It was worth it though, of course. This weekend was the most fun I've had in a long, long, LONG ass time. It was a pleasure to see/meet each and every one of you. :)

I'll post again when I wake up in the morning (or afternoon, or perhaps evening). =D
 
Ran into some people from BL at the party, that was
a rather nice suprise. I had a goatee and a yellow
atari shirt. -&rew
 
Wow.. This was *by far* the best time I have had in a VERY long time. Thank you to everyone for being a part of it. It was great to see old friends again, make new ones, and share such a wonderful evening with you all. I'll write more later when I'm actually awake.

Yes, same boat here. :)

In the meantime: I enjoyed meeting all of you so much. You are all wonderful people and I was actually a little weepy when I got on the plane. This was an amazing weekend on so many levels, I'll explain in my journal when my brain is working a little better. ;)

I had an amazing time all weekend, from dinner on Friday night right through huddling during the pouring rain. You are amazing people and Im glad to call you all friends. It was also great to meet quite a handful of new faces. Thank you all for such a wonderful weekend!

Im going to set up an ftp so that we can all dump our pictures on it and then everyone can grab them. Ill message all of you to let you know the info once its set up.

I'm very surprised that half way through the nigh we were making fun of all the cuddle puddles. Only to find ourselves in a cuddle puddle later on that night.

Hey kidz... just made it home. As everyone has said, it was an amazing time. Everything was right with the world... we had the perfect balance of vets and newbies for the starscape experience, everyone stayed together for the majority of the night, and I was MOST PLEASED. Seeing all of you together having fun is why I show up. At times I felt like a proud papa while looking over all of you, and I wasn't even the oldest male in the area. ;)

New people: It was great to meet you... about fucking time.
Vets: You know. I love you guys.

My only regret... seeing all of TWO of you before people started to leave. Sometimes, parting is better than meeting... by that time, you've gotten to know people, shared time and experiences together... so to all of you that I didn't get to say my farewells, "I don't like goodbye's. Let's just say Until Next Time." Thanks Steve and Melissa for stopping by before you guys hit the road... how do you feel now that you are no longer a whippit virgin hun? ;)

If I owe anyone money after this weekend, please remind me. After all the money that exchanged hands, there was no way I was going to be able to keep count. If I owe you something, I will take care of you.
