I've got to think of a really fuckin' good excuse, but I wanna gotta go to Starscape this year.
 
I'm 19 and live with my parents.

"Oh, I'm, uh, gonna go down to Baltimore for the weekend...see ya in a few" doesn't fly with them.

"I'm staying with my internet friends" won't work so well either.

Well, it IS two days before my 20th birthday...I'm sure that'll help a bit.

I'm trying to go... I don't know if everything will work out. I'll have to do it on the cheap somehow.. if thats possible. The next month I'm going up to Canada for the Hulla reunion. Anyone want to share a room with me n a friend? :) (Preferably someone I know?) I'd love to see you all again.. and I promise I'll actually be around more this time.. Last time I kinda disappeared during the event..
 
...meh, i find this lineup, as i anticipated, to be pretty dissapointing. Ill be there for evol intent most def, assuming i have money to go this year. IMO starscape gets weaker every year, they NEED to drop that pricetag cuz thats no where near what they give u but whatever call me jaded. and for real fuck that damn hippy shit. Maybe some cool things spin off from that crowd but... eh... why starscape? Whateva. not like i wouldnt go, just figured theyd actually reach for some bigger names this year. 50% of that lineup is local talent (not that that is bad, but for a festival like starscape thats just lame). Next year its gonna be like some southern gospel string quartet headlining.

im with you wood... i wouldnt mind going to see people that i havent seen in a long time, but as far as the line up goes, mainly evol intent and reid speed are what would make me go to the actual event! though regardless of who's spinning, i always end up having a good time when im there. i usually dont even pay attention to whos on stage cause theres so many awesome people hanging out with our crew that i forget theres a point to the music. :D
 
the fact that the jambands are there is the reason alot of my friends went last year, and than i coaxed them over to the buzz area or the pier area.
 
can't make it... can't get the time off from work. I might as well just give up, clearly i'm not destined to go to Starscape. This is the 4th year in a row i've planned to go, but for one reason or another it didn't end up working out.... boooooooooooo
