After Me, Collin and another person questioned, they fixed the lineup on the myspace page to include Deekline.

I agree with WOOD and ryanlaughlin that the lineup is a step down from last year. However, there's still enough good artists on there to motivate me to go. I saw Ed Rush and Optical in January, and was pleased with their performance, so I'd like to see them again. Of course Reid Speed and Evol Intent are always sure bets. I'm not sure how good DJ Craze was last year, but I've heard so many good things about him I'm willing to give him another chance. The main stage lineup is especially disappointing; RJD2 is the only one I want to see there. If I go, I'll prolly be spending most of my time in the d&b area.
 
mmmm beatnuts, adam f,. and craze. not that i havent seen the latter two a million times, but im never dissapointed. I think i might be able to make this trek ;)
 
assuming flight prices dont change too much before friday, I should be making my Starscape comeback :)

Unfortunately Frostyangel doesnt seem to have enough $$$ or time for the trip because she is going on a cruise to Greece.......

two years ago craze did a set on the dnb stage AND a set on the hip hop stage. he was good on both, but his set on the hip hop stage was OUT OF CONTROL. craze knows how to play to the crowd and is usually a sure bet for a good set.

I am pretty sure I am going. the only inconvenience is that this falls on finals week, but I think I will be done with finals by time to make this party. work ain't a thing and the only other factor holding me back is my duties as a drummer playing shows, but I don't have any gigs scheduled as of now. I had a blast last year and to answer Rudi's queston DJ Craze was the shiiiit. this looks to be the 5th fucking time I've seen RJD2.

my only question about RJ is if he is doing his new band-live performance shtick (which is still fun to watch) or if he is sticking to all electronic. seeing both shticks, I hope he goes the electronic route.

the Pietasters? holy wtf. I doubt many know of them on this board, but I used to LOVE that band when I was younger. they sound like a Blues Brothers-esque ska act. I never guessed in a MILLION fucking years that I would see them first @ SS.

I hope this time is as good as the last.

Check Jet Blue. I got my ticket from San Diego to Dulles for 304 after all the taxes. However, one of the flights (the one going out there) is an overnight, and Dulles is about an hours drive from Glen Burnie (I was renting a car anyway, so no biggie...)
 
meh, this lineup kinda sucks. i was hoping there would be more exciting stuff on there!!! then again, last year i don't recall a single set from the whole night as i was a tad incapacitated. and, it's mostly for the fun vs. for the music.


BUT that aside,

i am going!! i was pretty against going this year, and i decided i'd go if my boyfriend would come with me. and he wasn't going to come with (little to no interest in bluelight, electronic moosic, and partying stuffs) BUT THEN THIS WEEKEND HE CHANGED HIS MIND!!!

so now i'm all wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee excited again!!
 
Well, I'm definitely not going to SS this year. There's gonna be a psytrance campout closer to home, and the total cost of a weekend there is far less than an SS trip would be.
