I think if your an alcoholic, whether you've been one for years, or just became one(as if there was a standard for being an alcoholic
), your tolerance dosent vary all that much
TheDrizzle said:depending on how bad of an alcoholic you are and how high your tolerance is yes you can die from withdrawl.... it is not a VERY common thing but it is basically the only drug that has potential to kill you by stopping cold turkey, not even Heroin can do that.
)....thats one reason i don't fuck with pills. and about alcohol your tolerance certainly does go up. being an alcoholic doesn't mean you are going to drink a fuck ton just that you have an addictive personality and you deal with everything by drinking and can't stop. but if you drink all the time just because (say in a fraternity, which i was in) you will build a tolerance to alcohol but you may not be an alcoholic because you can stop drinking whenever you want. i drank too much just because there was nothing better to do but when i noticed the bad side efffects such as feeling shitty all the time I stopped and haven't really been drunk since.Only through seizures I believe, In alcohol your body actually dies as it needs alcohol to survive.dilated_pupils said:Benzo's can kill you as well if you stop taking them cold turkey.
