I usually just say "no thanks" , cause most of the time I actually already have bud when they ask lol, but sometimes I'll stop and check it out depending on where I am. I dont think you can get arrested for just looking at weed so even if the guy is a cop it dosen't really matter as long as you dont buy any.
 
I've had mixed experiences over the years with buying from random street dealers. I've also got some of the best deals of my life from this type of dealer as well. If they start acting shady, then just say, "no thanks" and walk away.

Anywho, that's just my two cents.
 
Ask him to see it, then take it, then run.

I'd probably buy it, if I didn't have any, and if I could smoke (:(). I doubt the police are going to waste their time and effort trying to set you up to buy a few bucks of marijuana.
 
I'd buy it. A couple days ago I walked up to some random group and asked if I could get a nickle and was successful. The reason I did that is cause im up north and have no connections. I'm trying to get the balls to ask people for coke/x but its harder trying to look for the type of people that have that.
 
I like to lead them on a little bit, although I would never, ever buy anything from some idiot on the street.

I like to fuck with them:
"do you have any insert stupid fake strain name here?" (ex: have any "super jafar bomb bomb checkin' octa-knish buds?")
"oh, then what kind do you have?"
"how much for a dub?"
"how much for an eighth?"
"ok cool, I'm down. oh wait. I just remembered that I don't smoke weed"

Its pretty fun. I'm usually good at picking which ones I should and shouldn't fuck with, but one of these days I'll probably pick the wrong guy and end up getting stabbed. :\
 
Hehehe. Yeah, probably. That would put the joke up a level wouldn't it though? muahahaha

Ive bought off plenty street dealers while traveling (yes sometimes I get that desperate)
 
I'd ignore and move on.

If I want weed (which I never do) I can always get it from a buddy. Fuck that risky buying on the street crap. Unless its like a hard drug... yenno... something thats worth the risk. Not that I do those things anymore... right?
 
Watch out for the 'put real bud up to your nose to see/smell then switch it for fake bud' routine.

That's what happened to me when I was drunk in Waikiki.
 
what about the opposite... random person asking for drugs.... Had this happen leaving the mall a while back. Just some guy new in town trying to find a hook up. All of us were like "sorry buddy...ahem! cop...ahem!". Except one of our friends who walked over and got him hooked up. He ended up being cool....

I also got this when I was working at a convenience store/gas station back in college. Sometimes I'd help 'em out, others were a bit sketchy
 
Me and my friends have only bought off a street dealer one time, was after a music festival.. we were calling people too try get some anyway, guy comes up and asks if we wanted to buy any, it felt too convenient... but he was cool and we knocked his price down a bit.

I prefer to go through people i know though.. for any drug.

I've had random people ask me for drugs, i dunno why.. maybe i look like a dealer.. but i just tell them 'nah, got none' even if i do lol.
 
if they approach me at my neighborhood, im in. its not a crime to purchase weed in this state so it aint a cop and nobody from the hood would rob me, ever.
 
I've been approached by randoms a few times. one time I hooked him up with a 1/4, took him for a walk first to make sure it wasnt a snitch though.
ive bought off randoms plenty of times, when you're a stranger in town there's no other option but Total Sobriety.
 
where i live, cops dont even bother with trying to set people up with buying drugs to arrest them...however they will stop u if ur walking if ur white in the ghetto areas and search u obviously knowing ur buying drugs...i dont trust random people...but on the west side of buffalo if ur buying smack...most of the people hustling will approach u and 80% of the time it is smack they just trying to hustle...at night time u will get burned...in the morning daytime u will be safe cuz thats when business booms with heroin
 
check it out......dont have to buy it....besides they would get in trouble not me.
